I think the end times begins with quotes like this one, "Heal me Jesus, I don't want to go to heaven." ::preachit::

I tend to think that the masses have established what being christian is only because thats what someone else read out of a book and then told them. The problem with this is they very often get the wrong message out because the priests and preachers didn't understand what they were reading to begin with, and as far as I am concerned none of them ever have! The road to hell is paved with good intentions and there are verses that basically say that very same thing and people constantly think being the good and blind choir boy is going to make things better and it's not. You can't have it both ways and I think thats the main message that is being sent out. Cause to believe it any other way is to do away with it entirely.

It's a shame that we can quote scripture and not realize that there are other scriptures than contradict what we have just said. Or that someone from the bible can sacrifice a family member and we praise it as a measure of faith. Where I come from thats called a mental disibility. You can't say it's O.K. to kill so long as god commands it and then turn around and think yourself divine, it's hipocracy and a flat out travesty.

As far as prophesy, you can't create a prophesy beyond the alignments and cycles of the universe, and thats not really a prophesy nor is talking about it for 2000 years and not expect it to happen. Because when it's all over you and everyone else made it happen.

And while I'm on the subject of the damned. lets talk about Cain. Abel killed the firstlings, if we are sheep then Cain was a firstling. So in fact it was Abels intentions to kill Cain. Oh and if killing Cain brings seven fold punishment for doing it, then why does it say you should? Thats Dumb.

I hope there is some point to all this.   ???

I guess that depends on what the title of the thread is!

I split the post from the thread as it was way off topic.
