Hey. Some of you here might be familiar with my position that the two beasts of Revelation 13 were the early pagan and later Constantinian Roman empires, respectively. I would like to write or help write a paper that expands on that by identifying the ten kings of Daniel and Revelation as the series of upstart and short-lived rulers who governed parts of the empire during the Imperial Crisis, Roughly AD 265 - AD 295. In order to prove the thesis I will have to demonstrate that there were about ten of these rulers, that they persecuted the church, and that they had a deleterious impact on Empire. This is an accounting job that will require going through the stacks of a good seminary and I would be happy to share the work. Any lay scholars out there willing to help? Or, if this has already been proposed by someone, could someone point me to the work?
