The RAPTURE is a doctrine of cowards and losers.
Based on about a half dozen verses this invention of a mid-19th century consort of witches (John Nelson Darby), denies the context (interrelated conditions of Holy Writ) of the entire rest of the Bible as well as the words of Jesus Christ. (John 17:15)
At its core, the rapture is a delusion of American protestant evangelicals who are Biblically illiterate in the extreme. Intent on digesting religious slogans and buzz words instead of the Big Picture as God paints it in the Bible, these sad folks would deny even the lord they claim to respect and worship. The rapture dogma is accepted only in America by evangelical fanatics and in those nations infected by their rhetoric. Churches in some nations, such as South Africa, have declared the doctrine to be unworthy of Christian attention and have banned references to it altogether. Like hot dogs and apple pie, but less nutritious, the rapture is purely an American invention. As dogma it leaves a lot to be desired.
As logic, nothing could be more juvenile. There are at least three separate versions of the rapture. Each claims divine authority to tell the fantasy as to when it will happen, to whom it will happen and blindly fills the holes in its assertions with science fiction fantasy the writers of Star Trek would envy. Each has proponents who claim one cannot be a Christian unless this monstrous dogma is accepted as truth, which it most certainly is not.
Well, I have a very good friend. Roman Catholic... so much so she will not permit her children to even date or go out with anyone who is not Roman Catholic... starting in high school. So much so that all her spare time is working in her church and even counseling marrieds and those who would be... arranging dinners and such for the church as a whole... and teaching on abstinence . So much so that she and each of her first 8 (of 10) children every year would go on mission work to Haiti or some other needy country.... at their own expense.
IOW... a very serious minded Roman Catholic .
And this woman, who so loves every thing Roman Catholic and had a picture of Pope Frances in her kitchen is all to happy to sit and talk about her beliefs IN THE RAPTURE.

But you say
Based on about a half dozen verses this invention of a mid-19th century consort of witches (John Nelson Darby), denies the context (interrelated conditions of Holy Writ) of the entire rest of the Bible as well as the words of Jesus Christ. (John 17:15)
Half a dozen verses. The fact that there are a half dozen verses and not a single one should give pause at to what they truly mean.
There are 7 Baptisms mentioned in the bible.
1 Cor 10: 1-3 The Baptism of Moses
Mark 1:4 The Baptism of John
Mathew 3:13-17 The Baptism of Jesus
Mathew 3: 11-12 The Baptism of fire
Ephesians 1:13–14; 1 Corinthians 12:13 The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Mark 10:35–39 ; esp v 38 The Baptism of the cross
Matthew 28:19 The Baptism of believers.
Seven variations on the same theme. Yet YOU know as well as I do the heated discussions on here from those who hang their hats on because of single verse... Mark 16:16 and they twist all other discussions on "baptism" to this one, regardless of the context that the others are referencing.
And because most Roman Catholics and Presbyterians do not immerse, as there is not one place in the Holy Bible that mentions anything other then immersion. And because Roman Catholics and Presbyterians Baptiste babies we are not Baptized therefore not saved.
But this is not about baptism.
You have drawn your conclusions on The Rapture based on what you understand. NOT based on anything you can prove.
Is it real??? I sure hope so but If not I do not care.
YOU also said.
The RAPTURE is a doctrine of cowards and losers.
Well, I can assure you there are 4 or 5 "protestants" on here that already think that of me. I shall add you to the list
