Third Temple Materials Ready To Build It
« on: Wed Apr 22, 2020 - 08:50:20 »
The Temple Mount Faithful orthodox Jews in Jerusalem have for over two decades now been working towards building the new Jewish temple on the temple mount in Jerusalem. They have been working with world leaders to further that goal.

http://templemountfaithful.org/

This is not a hoax. Even in 1997 there was a company in the USA called Jesus, Inc. that was sending red heifers to orthodox Jews in Jerusalem for sacrifices. Some Christian Churches have been sending donations to help the Jews in their quest, and not just red heifers. Clyde Lot in the 1990's, a Christian in the USA raising red heifers working with the Jews in Jerusalem...

But it's not just the red heifer thing, the orthodox Jews in Jerusalem have the cornerstone for the new temple cut and ready to place on the temple mount...

The temple articles required for worship in the new third temple are ready also...

All of this is pure vanity, and represents the futile plans of puny men who believe they can succeed where previous attempts in the past have failed.  They don’t even realize that the site of the supposed “Temple Mount” is based on the wrong coordinates for the original site of the Temple.  God apparently has allowed this deception to prevail, so that their plans can stay on hold.

As I have said before, this supposed “Temple Mount” location is the site of the Roman Antonia Fortress, where our Saviour’s blood spattered the pavement during His scourging by the Romans.  Without realizing it, the strict Muslim requirement for visitors to remove their shoes before entering this site actually gives unspoken honor to the sufferings of Christ on that very ground.  I find this ironic, given that there is an inscription on this mosque denying even the possibility of the existence of a Son of God.  God has a wry sense of humor, for sure.

Those who don't understand what the orthodox Jews who still reject Jesus of Nazareth as The Messiah are planning, show they don't understand Bible prophecy for the end, and thus are not prepared, not watching per our Lord Jesus' command.

Everything prophesied for Jerusalem at the end is right on track. The Jew's plan to build another temple and startup old covenant worship with sacrifices again, is right on track. That temple is a requirement of the Bible prophecy about the coming Antichrist at the end of this world. It is required to fulfill the Daniel 11:31 and Daniel 9:27 and Daniel 8:11 forward Scripture.

And it won't technically be a 'third' temple, but a fourth temple if one counts Herod's modifications of the 2nd temple back in history as a third one.

The Jews already have the new temple's "blueprint" from the dimensions of the previous one. They also have all the instruments made to use in temple rites. They recently consecrated an altar to be used in it.  And, with modern equipment, they can build the temple in a matter of days.

As for the matter of the fire that God kindled on the tabernacle altar that was transferred to Solomon's temple, the Jews will likely produce a fire they claim has been secretly kept in some underground chamber for centuries, to place on the altar.(Maybe Indiana Jones will bring the ark to them !)

While it won't actually be a temple of God, as JESUS won't be included in its rites, the world will view it as such.

WON'T happen. Only fortune tellers say such things! It was done, wise up!

The Curses of Disobedience
(Leviticus 20:1-9; Leviticus 26:14-39)

15If, however, you do not obey the LORD your God by carefully following all His commandments and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

16You will be cursed in the city

and cursed in the country.

17Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.

18The fruit of your womb will be cursed,

as well as the produce of your land,

the calves of your herds,

and the lambs of your flocks.

19You will be cursed when you come in

and cursed when you go out.

20The LORD will send curses upon you, confusion and reproof in all to which you put your hand, until you are destroyed and quickly perish because of the wickedness you have committed in forsaking Him.a

21The LORD will make the plague cling to you until He has exterminated you from the land that you are entering to possess. 22The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought,b and with blight and mildew; these will pursue you until you perish. 23The sky over your head will be bronze, and the earth beneath you iron.

24The LORD will turn the rain of your land into dust and powder; it will descend on you from the sky until you are destroyed.

25The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will march out against them in one direction but flee from them in seven. You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the air and beasts of the earth, with no one to scare them away.

27The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors and scabs and itch from which you cannot be cured.

28The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness, and confusion of mind, 29and at noon you will grope about like a blind man in the darkness. You will not prosper in your ways. Day after day you will be oppressed and plundered, with no one to save you.

30You will be pledged in marriage to a woman, but another man will violate her. You will build a house but will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard but will not enjoy its fruit. 31Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat any of it. Your donkey will be taken away and not returned to you. Your flock will be given to your enemies, and no one will save you.

32Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, while your eyes grow weary looking for them day after day, with no power in your hand. 33A people you do not know will eat the produce of your land and of all your toil. All your days you will be oppressed and crushed. 34You will be driven mad by the sights you see.

35The LORD will afflict you with painful, incurable boils on your knees and thighs, from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

36The LORD will bring you and the king you appoint to a nation neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone. 37You will become an object of horror, scorn, and ridicule among all the nations to which the LORD will drive you.

38You will sow much seed in the field but harvest little, because the locusts will consume it. 39You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but will neither drink the wine nor gather the grapes, because worms will eat them. 40You will have olive trees throughout your territory but will never anoint yourself with oil, because the olives will drop off. 41You will father sons and daughters, but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity. 42Swarms of locusts will consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

43The foreigner living among you will rise higher and higher above you, while you sink down lower and lower. 44He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, and you will be the tail.

45All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the LORD your God and keep the commandments and statutes He gave you. 46These curses will be a sign and a wonder upon you and your descendants forever.

47Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart in all your abundance, 48you will serve your enemies the LORD will send against you in famine, thirst, nakedness, and destitution. He will place an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.

49The LORD will bring a nation from afar, from the ends of the earth, to swoop down upon you like an eagle—a nation whose language you will not understand, 50a ruthless nation with no respect for the old and no pity for the young. 51They will eat the offspring of your livestock and the produce of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain or new wine or oil, no calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks, until they have caused you to perish. 52They will besiege all the cities throughout your land, until the high and fortified walls in which you trust have fallen. They will besiege all your cities throughout the land that the LORD your God has given you.

53Then you will eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters whom the LORD your God has given you, in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you.

54The most gentle and refined man among you will begrudge his brother, the wife he embraces,c and the rest of his children who have survived, 55refusing to share with any of them the flesh of his children he will eat because he has nothing left in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within all your gates.d

56The most gentle and refined woman among you, so gentle and refined she would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground, will begrudge the husband she embracese and her son and daughter 57the afterbirth that comes from between her legs and the children she bears, because she will secretly eat them for lack of anything else in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within your gates.

58If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name—the LORD your God— 59He will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary disasters, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses. 60He will afflict you again with all the diseases you dreaded in Egypt, and they will cling to you.

61The LORD will also bring upon you every sickness and plague not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed. 62You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left few in number, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.

63Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and multiply, so also it will please Him to annihilate you and destroy you. And you will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

64Then the LORD will scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known. 65Among those nations you will find no repose, not even a resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and a despairing soul.

66So your life will hang in doubt before you, and you will be afraid night and day, never certain of survival. 67In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and in the evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’—because of the dread in your hearts of the terrifying sights you will see.

68The LORD will return you to Egypt in ships by a route that I said you should never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

WIKIPEDIA-     Julian

There was an aborted project under Roman emperor Julian (361–363 CE) to rebuild the Temple. Julian is traditionally called Julian the Apostate due to his policy of reversing Emperor Constantine's Christianization campaign by restoring traditional religious practices and holy places across the Empire. It was as part of this policy, Julian permitted the Jews to build a Third Temple. Rabbi Hilkiyah, one of the leading rabbis of the time, spurned Julian's money, arguing that gentiles should play no part in the rebuilding of the temple.

According to various ancient sources, including Sozomen (c. 400–450 CE) in his Historia Ecclesiastica and the pagan historian and close friend of Julian, Ammianus Marcellinus,[14] the project of rebuilding the temple was aborted because each time the workers tried to build the temple using the existing substructure, they were burned by terrible flames coming from inside the earth and an earthquake negated what work was made:

Julian thought to rebuild at an extravagant expense the proud Temple once at Jerusalem, and committed this task to Alypius of Antioch. Alypius set vigorously to work, and was seconded by the governor of the province; when fearful balls of fire, breaking out near the foundations, continued their attacks, till the workmen, after repeated scorchings, could approach no more: and he gave up the attempt.[15]

The failure to rebuild the Temple has been ascribed to the Galilee earthquake of 363 CE, and to the Jews' ambivalence about the project. Sabotage is a possibility, as is an accidental fire. Divine intervention was the common view among Christian historians of the time.[16] When Julian was killed in battle after a reign of less than three years, the Christians reasserted control over the empire, and the opportunity to rebuild the Temple ended.

That's because it wasn't God's time for the new temple to be built.

Yes, it will happen, as the "abomination of desolation" from the Book of Daniel requires a standing Jewish temple in Jerusalem, with sacrifices.

That has been the orthodox Jew's plan ever since they started wanting to return to the holy land and desired to re-establish the nation of Israel again since Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D., and taken over by foreign conquerors until 1948.

If so, why isn't the Holocaust prophesied in the Bible before your Zionist predictions?

I'm sure DPR will answer as well, but please allow me to also answer.

The holocaust was the culmination of God's punishment of the Jews for their murder of Jesus & their continued rejection of Him as Messiah. This punishment began in 135 AD with Hadrian's eviction of the Jews from their land. History shows that for over 1800 years, they were hated & persecuted wherever they went. And we know that after the nazis fell, God began to lift their punishment. remember, God promised to restore both Judah & Israel, & the founding of modern Israel is the beginning of that. And Jesus promised to reveal Himself to them, so as to end their unbelief in Him.

Clearly, history has no record of the AOD being committed after Jesus was here. It did NOT occur 66-70 AD.

I asked about where in the N.T.  (the Bible, not history) do you read God's wrath on the Jews in the Holocaust?  You seem to claim the "end times" in Revelation per your Zionist view, there's nothing about the Jews Holocaust written before your antichrist comes to a 3rd temple in Jerusalem.

The simple truth is that ALL the Bible was completed- and prophecy fulfilled.

Gotcha!

TRUTH is, God didn't tell us every little detail of the future, as that would cause people to worship from fear & general knowledge insteada faith. He gave us a general outline.

Now, if He punished the Jews severely for killing other ordinary people, how much more has he punished them for killing JESUS ?

And, He did NOT prophesy many of the other disasters that've occurred since Jesus was here, such as the Yangtze River flood that killed nearly a million people, the "Black Death" plague, the several great wars, the flu pandemic of 1918, nor the current Covid 19 pandemic.

But He DID prophesy the destruction of jerusalem & the temple, which occurred to the letter, & jerusalem's becoming as a burdensome stone to much of the world, Egypt's poverty terror of the land of Judah, & the restoration of Israel & Judah, which are now beginning. All those things have LITERALLY come to pass, or are starting to. And He also prophesied the coming of a great evil ruler, the worst tribulation of man's history to come worldwide, the committing of the "abomination of desolation", a miracle-working false prophet who will be the evil ruler's deputy, and the physical, visible return of Jesus, which will be seen by ALL, among other things He prophesied that are yet to occur.

The eschatological events simply haven't yet happened, but when they do, they'll be as literal os those other prophesied events that HAVE happened. preterists try to re-write history to attempt to shoehorn those events into it, but the TRUTH is, they're still in the future.

I have repeatedly asked preterists for HISTORICAL PROOF those events have already happened, but they're clueless, stumped, & stymied when they try to answer. They try to add new meanings to Scripture or make up fairy tales insteada simply accepting the truth, that those events are still future.

Gotcha!

Gotcha??? What you wrote is like trying to compare bananas with grapefruit! Even the Jeremiah 24 prophecy of God's promise to return Judah to the land and not remove them again was written in the Old Testament Books, and not in the New Testament! And you try to corner an event like the Holocaust to the New Testament??? What ignorance!

So then what is the Jeremiah 24 prophecy about in connection with God promises to Judah and the land? And why is it being connected with the idea of the fig there? When did that happen in history?

God only saved a remnant of Israel in AD70 that were alive.
The Remnant of Israel
Rom.11:…4And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5In the same way, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.…

No it won't. It was already attempted. God shut it down.

It was attempted several times, but it wasn't yet God's time for it. When His time comes, it'll be built.

God STILL has a remnant of faithful Israelis, even among the Jews. When you remember that the people of Israel are more than just the Jews, you'll see it easier.

As for the Christ-rejecting Jews, God will allow them to build a new temple when His time comes, so His prophecies & purposes can be accomplished. The main one will be the commission of the "abomination of desolation" by the antichrist & the false prophet.

What I don't know because Scripture doesn't mention it is whether this temple will be destroyed in the "Gog-Magog war", or whether God will cleanse it & make it into a TRUE temple of God, where Jesus is honored & worshipped. After all, Jesus is gonna reveal Himself to the Jews at the conclusion of that war.

You need to study the O.T. more.  The only faithful remnant of Biblical Israel have gone to heaven (hades was emptied and the rest died long ago)

You need to study what God said to Israel in Deut.28,  when Moses with O.T. laws were written. God had blessings  for obedience and curses for disobedience:

25 “The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them; and you shall become [h]troublesome to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 Your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one shall frighten them away. 27 The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed. 28 The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.

30 “You shall betroth a wife, but another man shall lie with her; you shall build a house, but you shall not dwell in it; you shall plant a vineyard, but shall not gather its grapes. 31 Your ox shall be slaughtered before your eyes, but you shall not eat of it; your donkey shall be violently taken away from before you, and shall not be restored to you; your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have no one to rescue them. 32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all day long; and there shall be no strength in your hand. 33 A nation whom you have not known shall eat the fruit of your land and the produce of your labor, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually. 34 So you shall be driven mad because of the sight which your eyes see. 35 The Lord will strike you in the knees and on the legs with severe boils which cannot be healed, and from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.

36 “The Lord will bring you and the king whom you set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods—wood and stone. 37 And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all nations where the Lord will drive you.

38 “You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for the locust shall consume it. 39 You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. 40 You shall have olive trees throughout all your territory, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off. 41 You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity. 42 Locusts shall [l]consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

43 “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

45 “Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you [m]did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. 46 And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and on your descendants forever.

47 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. 49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young. 51 And they shall eat the increase of your livestock and the produce of your land, until you are destroyed; they shall not leave you grain or new wine or oil, or the increase of your cattle or the offspring of your flocks, until they have destroyed you.

52 “They shall besiege you at all your gates until your high and fortified walls, in which you trust, come down throughout all your land; and they shall besiege you at all your gates throughout all your land which the Lord your God has given you. 53 You shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you. 54 The sensitive and very refined man among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the rest of his children whom he leaves behind, 55 so that he will not give any of them the flesh of his children whom he will eat, because he has nothing left in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at all your gates. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and sensitivity, will refuse to the husband of her bosom, and to her son and her daughter, 57 her placenta which comes out from between her feet and her children whom she bears; for she will eat them secretly for lack of everything in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at all your gates.

58 “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, 59 then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues—great and prolonged plagues—and serious and prolonged sicknesses. 60 Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. 61 Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. 62 You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God. 63 And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.

64 “Then the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone. 65 And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul. 66 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life. 67 In the morning you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were evening!’ And at evening you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were morning!’ because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see.

68 “And the Lord will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, ‘You shall never see it again.’ And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

No, hades is still there. No human is in heaven or hell(the lake of fire) yet.

And there are quite a few Christians who are Jews by inheritance, not to mention many other Israelis who don't know their true national identity yet. (And neither do I.)

The Jews are the only Israelis whose national ID we can be sure of. Very few other Israelis knew their true ID in Jesus' time; Anna the prophetess who lived in the temple, was of the tribe of Asher, & we don't see any other Israelis mentioned by their tribes after that. And by the time the Roman empire ended, virtually all but the Jews had lost their national ID.

All the curses Moses prophesied on Israel for sinning fell upon the Jews, for sure. And they most likely fell on the others as well, whenever whatever nations they'd become part of suffered misfortune.  But God chose to allow the Jews to keep their national ID. And no other distinct people in history have undergone the persecution and outright hatred the Jews have, and survived as a people, let alone rebounded into a powerful little nation as the modern Jewish state has. DO YOU NOT SEE THE HAND OF GOD AT WORK HERE ? ?

Ugh! God left the building made with hands 2k years ago. Why do you think the Jews suffered the holocaust?

Answer: because God doesn't protect them anymore. They are not God's elect anymore, as in the OT till AD 30-70.

It could have happened to a Moslem or Buddhist nation just as well bc they God is not a respecter of persons.

Read Deut.28 if you want the real prediction of what would happen to the Jews in their "end times" which Jesus and all the apostles and epistles record in the Bible.

The real religious Jews (and secular too) knew they were not supposed to gather to the homeland again until Messiah came. That's why they have stayed away, scattered among heathen nations- bc they didn't believe the Messiah has come.

You are looking for a new temple when God Himself said there is no more temple in the New Covenant of Grace in our New Jerusalem.

We are temples, housing the Holy Spirit.

But you keep are a Judaizing, looking for a building made with hands, which is against God's Plans!

Deuteronomy 28- curses on breaking the Old Covenant Law (given through Moses)

Notice a lot of the symbolic, apocalyptic, metaphorical  language in Revelation's prophesies?

RECOGNIZE REVELATION IN DEUT.28? If not you need to study prophetic, apocalyptic and symbolic language from ancient history.

It's a study all by itself. It's not your history.

For dpr,

You had asked when Jeremiah 24 was fulfilled.  It’s in the context.  The “good figs” were those such as Daniel and his young friends; such as the princes of Judah, the carpenters and the smiths, and Jeconiah the king of Judah’s son.  Basically, those who were skillful and wise - the best that Judah had to offer went in the first deportation to Babylon.

God would regather the remnant of these “good figs” to return to their homeland, and give them a heart to know Him in the post-exilic return.

As for the “evil figs”, these God would scatter and consume with various plagues: the sword, famine, and pestilence.  God named King Zedekiah of Judah, his princes, and those left in the land after the first deportation who would suffer these things in the final deportation when the city was taken and destroyed.  Jeremiah 24 - all of it already fulfilled.

For robycop3,
Your continued stress on ethnic Israel and the tribes is putting misplaced importance on something that the Apostle Paul gave us warnings about.

I Timothy 1:4   “Neither give heed to fables and ENDLESS GENEALOGIES, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”

Titus 3:9   “But avoid foolish questions, and GENEALOGIES, and contentions, and striving about the law; for THEY ARE UNPROFITABLE AND VAIN.”

The genealogies of the tribes and the ethnic nation of Israel served its purpose in identifying and setting up the ministry of the Messiah.  But once He had established by His resurrection the “One New Man” with the middle wall of partition between Jew and Gentile torn down, then the function for the tribes was over and done as an outmoded system under the superior benefits of the New Covenant.

These genealogies were destined to be burned up - literally - when the “root and branch” records of Israel’s ancestry and progeny were destroyed in the “Great and dreadful day of the Lord” during God’s “days of vengeance” from AD 66-70.

Why are you attempting to resurrect the ashes of these genealogies by concentrating on an assumed importance of ethnic Israel as a nation today?  This is an “unprofitable and vain” exercise to engage in, now that we are currently under the New Covenant.

Berean Study Bible

What Apostle Paul was teaching in Romans 11 about the remnant of Israel God reserved by His grace has nothing to do with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Paul was teaching about a remnant preserved IN The Gospel of Jesus Christ. And I assure you, that remnant of Israel is HUGE, and includes those of the ten lost tribes also who were not known as Jews.

Quote
In Jer.24, God simply showed the prophet a basket of good figs and a basket of bad figs.

God saved only the good figs/ the faithful remnant of Israel. God always had a faithful remnant of Israel.

You show you haven't even studied that Jer.24 chapter, but just skimmed over it. God is referring to JUDAH as the good basket of figs, not all Israel, not even the ten tribes, but actually the "house of Judah" remnant that returned to Jerusalem from the Babylon captivity. Those represent a small remnant of the Jews, and not all Israel, something many don't even understand from God's Word. God applies the idea of the fig to Judah there. And He mentions another people among Judah as the evil basket of figs.

For dpr,

You had asked when Jeremiah 24 was fulfilled.

No, I don't recall asking that. I remember talking about the fig as a symbol used there.

Quote

I know who the GOOD basket of figs represent there; God tells us. It's about a remnant of the "house of Judah" that returned to Jerusalem after the Babylon captivity. The figs represent Judah, and after God split old Israel into two separate kingdoms, 'Judah' was the name of the southern kingdom, and those were the ones left in the land after the majority of the tribes of Israel were removed captive to Assyria and the lands of the Medes, which was prior... to Judah's Babylon captivity. So yes, I'm familiar with OT Bible history.

Jer 24:5-6
5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

6 For I will set Mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
KJV

What did the Roman's destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. do to that prophecy? It shoved it forward in time, to the time when it would be fulfilled, 1948 if God doesn't remove Judah from the holy land again.

No, dpr, that “building”, “planting”, and “not plucking them up” applied only to the ones participating in the post-exilic return.  It did not give an assurance to every single person in perpetuity who calls themselves a descendent of some tribe of Israel.  It did NOT “shove it forward in time” as you suppose.

You DO remember the fruitless fig tree that Christ cursed in Jerusalem, don’t you?  “No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever”, He said (Mark 11:14).  If you want to compare ethnic Israel to the fig tree, then sure, let’s go with the final curse put on the fig tree.  As an ethnic “Holy people”, that particular designation for Israel ceased to exist long ago.  That “bond woman and her son” has been cast out.  Why do you want to welcome that entity back with open arms again?

God promised to RESTORE ISRAEL, & to make Israel & Judah one nation again. We see Him beginning to fulfill this promise in the establishment of the new sovereign nation of Judah.   While they call it "Israel" in the mistaken view that they're the only Israelis left, God will restore the rest of Israel when His time to do so comes. Now, this is plain Scripture, not some man-made theory.

Deuteronomy 30:5The Lord your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.

Isaiah 11:11-12Then it will happen on that day that the Lord
Will again recover the second time with His hand The remnant of His people, who will remain,
From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, And from the islands of the sea.
And He will lift up a standard for the nations And assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

Ezekiel 37:21-25Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people, and I will be their God.

There are many more such verses in Scripture. This is but a short list.

Yes, most Jews today still reject Jesus as Messiah. But we see that GOD HIMSELF will cdleanse them, and the rest of Israel.

A key to understanding OT prophecies is when it reads "Jacob", it includes ALL ISRAEL, not just the Jews. Many people believe that the Jews are all that's left of Israel, but SCRIPTURE says otherwise. Some day, we will see who the rest of Israel is. We will see it either in this world or the next, depending on whether it occurs in our mortal lifetimes or not.
