Too Many Masters
« on: Tue Sep 16, 2014 - 11:06:32 »
Too many teachers.... so many ways being taught leaving many to teach falsely on here..

I wonder how you all can figure revelation out.... why I bet if I asked each of you a simple question about this book most if not all of you'd get it wrong even though you all are very familiar with it.  And that makes me question how it is you cannot get something so simple yet you are a master on the hidden things

the question is how many horseman are there of the apocalypse - you would say 4 like every preacher teacher and student alike. ...

the answer of course is 5

1. King on white horse
2. Rider that takes peace from world
3. Famine holding scales
4. Death
5. Hell

see God fooled you to see if you were reading his word for what was said or what you had been taught it said.

Rev 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Rev 6:3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

A white horse with a rider.  That's one.

Rev 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

A red horse with a rider.  That's two.

Rev 6:5  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

A black horse with a rider.  That's three.

Rev 6:7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

A pale horse with a rider.  That's four.

Hmmm, you don't have a job that requires you to make change, do you?

Hell followed death, so maybe hell is on a horse, just like death, as they seem to go the same pace.
I always thought that hell was on a horse, that's how I interpreted it, or maybe just some black swarm that follows death.

I think there's mention of horses in the old testament, not sure if they are the same beings, but are chariots of horses.

Each horse corresponds to a seal...one horse per seal.

Since that is true with the first three seals, I have zero reason to believe there are two horses with the fourth seal.

In 6:9 the fifth seal is broken and there is no horse; we are all out of horses after the fourth seal.

Also to be considered, John probably borrowed from Zechariah 6:1-10 where we read of four chariots with horses that are red, black, white, and dappled.
