We near the last days. In these days, of the many called followers of Christ...there are a "few chosen." They are the firstfruits, they are the apostles, prophets, teachers, the "two witnesses" chosen for the specific purpose of witnessing...the first (fruits) in the last (days).

• Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Along with the chosen, the two groups of "two witnesses," that are to witness His truth, there are also chosen "two false witnesses" and they too are "at the last."

• Matthew 26:60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

I believe those two false witnesses are.....

"Preterism" may have some error but a more likely suspect would be the modern "Dispensationalist" teachings which drive a wedge of division into that which Yeshua has already healed. Namely that "there shall be one fold and one shepherd" (Jn.10:16) and the "two sticks made into one in his hand" (Ezk.37:16) because the Scripture states that Yeshua broke down the "middle wall of partition" between the two, (the Circumcision and the Uncircumcision) making one new man, (Eph.2) and thus making possible the grafting in of the Gentiles into the fold. Preterism is much closer to the truth than modern Dispensationalism which continues to divide Jews, (the house of Judah) and Gentiles, (the house of Israel) into two different groups.

Daniel 12:7
7. And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for [until] a time, times, and an half; and when he/they shall have accomplished to shatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

What does it mean when "the man clothed in linen" raises his right hand and his left hand to heaven and swears by him that lives for ever? The "man clothed in linen" has ARMS LIKE POLISHED BRASS.

Daniel 10:5-6
5. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6. His body also was like the Beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Yeshua already stood upon the Mount of Olives  ~  Zechariah 14:4

That is … "the Mount called Olivet" (which is GSN#1638 Elaionos) and as well as the former "Mount of Olives" (which is GSN#1636 Elaion) and they are different. And that is because the mount called Olivet is the Olivet which is nigh unto JERUSALEM OF ABOVE for those holding to The Way (that is, the Sabbath Way being in Christ).

Olivet  ~  Zeytiym
The Mount of Olives lies due East and adjoining the Temple Mount, but across the Kidron Valley. The priests, scribes, and Talmudic sources record that one could be near the upper half of the Mount and look down directly from that vantage point into the front vestibule, at the Porch of the Temple, having a direct line of sight into the very Temple itself. If the Mount of Olives were to be cleaved at the center with one portion rolled away to the north and one portion rolled away to the south then it would leave Jerusalem at the center and the Great City would indeed be divided into three parts. Those three parts would be:

1) Jerusalem raised up and remaining Center
2) Judaea-Negev to the Right and to the South
3) Samaria-Galilee to the Left and to the North

As for why the Pillar called Boaz is placed to the northern and left hand side of the porch of the Solomon Temple it is prophetic in typology and symbolism. It ties into the story of Boaz and Ruth the Moabitess by which the line of the kings of Judah came forth, (Boaz-Ruth, Obed, Jesse, David). The prophetic implications are that through the line of Judah not only would Messiah come but that he would graft the lost sheep of the house of Israel back into the fold of the all Israel of YHWH. When king David fled from Jerusalem by way of the Mount of Olives to remove himself away from his son Absalom, the king left behind ten concubines to keep the house; which Absalom then went in unto, even in the sight of all Israel.

2 Samuel 15:16
16.  And the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, which were concubines, to keep the house.

2 Samuel 16:20-22
20.  Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.
21.  And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father's concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.
22.  So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.

These concubines were "ten parts" in the king from the other Tribes:

2 Samuel 19:41-43
41.  And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king, and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away, and have brought the king, and his household, and all David's men with him, over Jordan?
42.  And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then be ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the king's cost? or hath he given us any gift?
43.  And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.

David was forced to put these ten concubines aside knowing that this probably meant that the Ten Tribes were eventually to be torn from the kingdom, (which happened under Solomon).

2 Samuel 20:3
3.  And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.

Most likely then Solomon named the Pillar to the north and on the left hand side of the porch Boaz because his great grandfather, and the seed line of the kings of Judah and of the south, also had married Ruth the Moabitess who was therefore grafted into the line in spite of being a Moabite woman. The prophecy therefore is in anticipation that the Messiah, the Lion of Judah, would graft back into the fold those ten lost tribes of the north later called the house of Israel. Those ten are symbolized in the ten defiled concubines of David whom he was forced to put away.



2 Samuel 15:30-32
30.  And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, (HSN#2132 zayith) and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
31.  And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness, O YHWH!
32.  And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped the 'Elohiym, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head.

Zechariah 14:3-4

4.  And his feet shall be stationed in that day upon the mount of Olives, (HSN#2132) which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives (HSN#2132) shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

It is YHWH who stands upon the mount of Olives in that great day.
AND THE CLOUDS ARE THE DUST OF HIS FEET.

Nahum 1:2-3
2.  'El is jealous, and YHWH revengeth; YHWH revengeth, and is furious; YHWH taketh vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
3.  YHWH is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: YHWH hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

The Mount of Olives Transfiguration ~

Matthew 17:1-5
1.  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2.  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3.  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4.  Then answered Peter, and said unto the Yeshua, Master, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5.  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

The cloud of YHWH not only overshadowed but ENVELOPED THEM ~

Luke 9:34-35
34.  While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35.  And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

The clouds of the FEET OF YHWH covered the top of the HOLY MOUNT
Therefore the Holy Mount of Olives was SUPERNALLY CLEAVED (SPIRIT)

2 Peter 1:16-20
16.  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Kuriou Yeshua Christou, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17.  For he received from the Father Theou honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18.  And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the HOLY MOUNT.
19.  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the Daystar arise in your hearts:
20.  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.



The reason that most modern scholars, teachers, shepherds, and leaders of the flock tend to reject the old time Tradition of the Transfiguration occuring at the Mount of Olives, (it is indeed the ancient tradition of the early church from the 1st Century) is because the moderns cannot explain with the eyes of the flesh understanding how when Yeshua and the three disciples came down from the mountain they were no longer at or near Jerusalem but were somewhere near Galilee where Yeshua then cast the demon out of the lunatick boy. Funny though how they do believe that Philip was transported in Acts 8 and later "found" in Azotus. Yeshua took Peter, James, and John, and went up the Mount of Olives to pray and when they came back down from the Mountain it was to "the Sides of the North" (which is near Galilee). The text in all accounts also appears to change at this point, as if the story of the Transfiguration was intentionally inserted here to reveal something important. Could it be because it was SIX DAYS later that the Holy Mountain was supernally divided? What follows in the Matthew account is a reference to the Parable of the Mustard Seed:

Matthew 17:9
9.  And as they came down from the mountain, the Yeshua charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

Let it be noted here that this is stated to be a VISION

Mathew 17:10-20
10.  And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11.  And he answered and said unto them, Elias verily cometh, and shall restore all things.
12.  But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they desired. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13.  Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
14.  And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15.  Master, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16.  And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17.  Then answered the Yeshua and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18.  And rebuked him the Yeshua; and departed out of him the daemon: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19.  Then came the disciples to Yeshua apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20.  And he said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

This all seems to occur somewhere else, and the Parable of the Mustard Seed and MOVING MOUNTAINS is inserted in the text. When Yeshua says to them: "Ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove" he is obviously speaking of whichever mountain from which they had just descended, if indeed he was not also pointing to the same mountain as he spoke the words, which he probably was. The mountain had just been "moved" in the kingdom of heaven and no one else around them would have been the wiser. The Parable of the Mustard Seed was already given previously in the same Gospel of Matthew:

Matthew 13:31-32
31.  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32.  Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Here now we have a huge clue as to the reason for "cleaving" the Mount of Olives and opening it up into two sections north and south: The reason is for to plant the Tree of Righteousness, Yeshua the Son of man, the Mustard Seed. The holy seed is Christ and he is the Mustard Seed. However, in the analogy of trees what are the branches of the family of YHWH? the branches of the tree all his house? The Mustard Seed is Christ, but the holy tree which comes forth of the Mustard Seed is the Olive Tree of YHWH, and YHWH is the great Husbandman who plants the Olive Tree.

Jeremiah 11:16-17
16.  YHWH hath called thy name, A green olive tree, (HSN#2132 zayith) fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
17.  For YHWH Tsabaoth, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

The Two Witnesses are therefore the House of Israel and the House of Judah: the "Two Sticks" of Ephraim and Judah from Ezekiel 37, which are become one in his hand. And this is because Christ has broken down that middle wall of partition which had separated the "heathen" Samaritans from the "pius" Judah. These are the two branches; the two "clusters" of olive; the two Shibbol-ears of the precious grain and fruit. The imagery is of YHWH cleaving the Mount of Olives, as the great Husbandman: rolling away half of the mountain to the north, which is the left hand side and Ephraim-Israel-Samaria; and at the same time rolling the other half of the mountain to the south, which is the right hand side and Judah-Negev. Then with the mountain valley of Zechariah 14 ploughed open, like a farmers row, YHWH plants the seed of the Tree of Righteousness in the fertile soil, and the Seed of Righteousness is the Mustard Seed, Yeshua HaMashiyach.

Samaria in typology becomes the "cluster" of the cities of the olive branch to the North and left hand side. Judah-Negev then becomes the olive branch of the "cluster" of cities to the South and right hand side. In typology Sodom almost always speaks of Judah when YHWH is angry, that is that Sodom represents the flesh as does Egypt; thus Judah-Negev is Sodom and Egypt in the bad sense, meaning the flesh. Samaria-Ephraim-Israel of the Northern Tribes and Northern branch of cities are generally symbolized in idolatry and the things which come from the vain imagination, which lead ultimately to demonic possession as the possessed man of the Gergesenes. Neither group is "off the hook" but this is the family of YHWH and why we need our High Priest Yeshua so very much more than we know.

Ezekiel 8:3-6
3.  And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of 'Elohiym to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate (of the city) that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
4.  And, behold, the glory of the 'Elohey of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
5.  Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6.  He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

1 Kings 14:21-24
21.  And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which YHWH did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
22.  And Judah did evil in the sight of YHWH, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
23.  For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.
24.  And there were also Sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which YHWH cast out before the children of Israel.

THE CITIES ARE FEMALE  ~  "SISTERS"

Ezekiel 16:1-3
1.  Again the Word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
2.  Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
3.  And say, Thus saith 'Adonay YHWH unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

Ezekiel 16:44-46
44.  Behold, every one that useth proverbs (parables) shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
45.  Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
46.  And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

Zechariah 4  ~  Two Olivet-Zeytiym Mustard Seed Branches

Zechariah 4:1-14
1.  And the mal'ak that spoke with me came again, and wakened me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
2.  And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold; a menorah-candlestick all of gold, with a basin over its head, and seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the head thereof.
3.  And two Zeytiym-Olivet (HSN#2132 zayith) by it, one upon the right side of the basin, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4.  So I answered and spake to the mal'ak that talked with me, saying, What are these, 'Adoni?
5.  Then the mal'ak that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, 'Adoni.
6.  The he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the Word of YHWH unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith YHWH Tsabaoth!
7.  Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the chiefstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace! Grace unto it!
8.  Moreover the Word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
9.  The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that YHWH Tsabaoth hath sent me unto you.
10.  For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of YHWH, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11.  Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two Olivet-Zetiym upon the right side of the menorah-candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12. And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two Olivet-Zeytiym Shibbol-cluster-ears (HSN#7641 shibbol) which through the two golden pipes flow the clear golden oil forthwith?
13.  And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, 'Adoni.
14.  Then said he: These are the two sons-branches of fresh anointing oil stationed beside the 'Adoni of all the earth.

The primary cities and regional locales to the north were Samaria, Galilee, and Decapolis which had ten major cities, (from "deka" which is the number ten) and all of these had many smaller unwalled towns, villages, and their suburbs. The ten cities of Decapolis are no doubt indicative of the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" which are typology of what now includes all the nations of the world where the Northern Tribes were scattered.



The Master ties all of this together for us in Matthew 4 & 5  ~

Matthew 4:23 ~ 5:16
23.  And the Yeshua went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24.  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
25.  And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
1.  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

11.  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13.  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14.  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a measure of grain, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The final verse is a COMMANDMENT!
And those who keep it are the Two Witnesses ...

We now have three links in a Scripture chain:

Jeremiah 11  ~  Romans 11  ~  Revelation 11

Jeremiah 11:16 speaks of the Olive Tree of YHWH, the Great Husbandman, who planted it Himself and tells us that it consists of the house of Judah and the house of Israel. Rom.11 then uses the same analogy of the same Olive Tree to show that we as believers in Yeshua are grafted into that Olive Tree of YHWH and that Christ is the root. In the beginning of the Romans passage Paul gives another critical link which concerns Elijah and the 7000 reserved unto YHWH; men of Israel not having bowed the knee to Baal.

Romans 11:2-5
2.  The Theos hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to the Theo against Israel, saying,
3.  Kurie, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4.  But what saith He the answer unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.
5.  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

The Romans 11 passage links 1 Kings 19 and Revelation 11 into the chain of Scripture references. It also links Samaria-Israel-Damascus-Syria. To wit, the 1Kgs.19 passage, because Elijah was a prophet sent to the northern kingdom of Israel, (ie. Ahab king of Israel) which at that time included Damascus-Syria and Elijah even was told in the passage to anoint Hazael to be the next king over Syria.

1 Kings 19:14-18
14.  And he said, I have been very jealous for the YHWH 'Elohey Tsabaoth! for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
15.  And YHWH said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:
16.  And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
17.  And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
18.  Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

These 7000 are spoken of also in three places; here above, and again we have the quote by Paul in Rom.11, and finally they appear again in Rev.11:13. The 7000, just like the 144000, are symbolic of the TENTH which would be saved out of the great city; which are slain in spirit, spiritually-supernally speaking, for not bowing the knee to Baal, which is idolatry and-or self worship. And when they are slain they are named; they are given new names or surnamed, (Rev.2:17). The misunderstanding of this is why most English translations leave out the fact that the word for "NAMES" (Grk. "onoma") is in the text. These are 7000 NAMES and they are themselves the typology of the Remnant. We have therefore all of the great city involved in the Rev.11 passage: Judah-Negev is Egypt-Sodom where also our Master Yeshua was crucified and Ephraim-Samaria-Israel is the TENTH of the city which will be felled-slain-saved.

Revelation 11:8-13
8.  And the carcasses of them [shall be] about-upon the broad place of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where-[soever] also the Kurios of them was crucified.
9.  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their carcasses three days and a hemisu, and shall not suffer their carcasses to be put in tombs.
10.  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts [sacrifice] one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11.  And after three days and a hemisu the Spirit of life from the Theou entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12.  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them: "Anabatehode!" And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies [spirit] watched them.
13.  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and were slain in the earthquake the names of men: seven thousand; and the-[those] remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the Theou of heaven.

As for Judah-Egypt-Sodom where the "two witnesses" are slain; is this not the Gospel of Christ crucified? The Gospel is Christ crucified: and we who believe are "crucified" with Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:22-29
22.  For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23.  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24.  But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christou is Theou Power, and Theou Wisdom.
25.  Because the foolishness of the Theou is wiser than men; and the weakness of the Theou is stronger than men.
26.  For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27.  But the Theos hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and the Theos hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28.  And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath the Theos chosen, yea,  and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29.  That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Galatians 2:20
20.  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christos liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of the Theou, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The entirety of the Revelation 11 passage is all inclusive for the saints but there are separate sections which are necessary to include the different portions of Scripture which are referenced. Ephraim-Samaria-Israel is included by the TENTH of the city having fallen. This "fallen" is probably not to mean "destroyed" but rather fallen to their knees in thanksgiving to YHWH and His Son when they are healed by the Son and finally see the truth. Rev.11:13 is a specific reference to the northern tribes of Joseph-Ephraim-Samaria-Israel and the prophecy that a TENTH of them would be purged and brought back out from the nations.

Amos 5:1-3
1.  Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
2.  The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
3.  For thus saith 'Adonay YHWH; The city that went out by a thousand shall be left an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

This clearly prophesies that a TENTH shall be left when the purging and cleansing is done. Amos continues with the wormwood-bitterwater curse, (a reference to Numbers 5) and the "Seven Stars" which are likely a reference to the great congregation-ekklesia and the seven stars or seven messengers of the seven churches in the right hand of Christ Yeshua, (Rev.1:20).

Amos 5:4-8
4.  For thus saith YHWH unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
5.  But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
6.  Seek YHWH, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
7.  Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
8.  Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: YHWH is his name.

Revelation 1:20
20.  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the messengers of the seven churches-ekklesia: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches-ekklesia.

Finally this TENTH of the great city is represented in the TEN lepers from Samaria which were cleansed. Yet only one of them was actually "made whole" in the process. The reason for this being for the same old reason; because those children of Israel which died off in the wilderness had died off because they murmured and were ungrateful along the way. For with a mighty hand YHWH had led them forth from Egypt, showing many mighty miracles and signs; even parting the Red Sea so that they were able to cross on dry ground while Pharaoh and his army were swallowed up in the sea and drowned behind them. YHWH 'Elohiym carried them on the wings of a great eagle and brought them unto himself; (Exo.19:4, Rev.12:14) yet those who did not make it through the wilderness were the prideful, those full of the lust for flesh, (eat, drink, and play) the murmuring, and the ungrateful; and for this reason they did not enter into the Rest of YHWH in his Promised Land. In the same way the Ten Lepers are "cleansed" as they begin to walk according to the Way in which Yeshua the Commander had commanded them to walk, (to go and show themselves to the priests). And only when they had begun to walk in that Way were they cleansed along the way, yet only one is ever said to be made whole.

Luke 17:11-19
11.  And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12.  And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13.  And they lifted up their voices, and said, Commander, [GSN#1988 epistates] Yeshua, have mercy on us.
14.  And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15.  And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice gave glory to the Theon,
16.  And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17.  And the Yeshua answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18.  There are not found that returned to give glory to the Theo, save this stranger.
19.  And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Understand that all TEN were cleansed,
Yet only one "leper" returned to give thanks,
This one "died" to himself and was made whole,
Yea, even a full "Tenth Part" of the great city had fallen,
Fallen at the feet of Christ giving thanks and glorifying YHWH …

Yeshua already stood upon the Mount of Olives  ~  Zechariah 14:4

That is … "the Mount called Olivet" (which is GSN#1638 Elaionos) and as well as the former "Mount of Olives" (which is GSN#1636 Elaion) and they are different. And that is because the mount called Olivet is the Olivet which is nigh unto JERUSALEM OF ABOVE for those holding to The Way (that is, the Sabbath Way being in Christ).

Matthew 17:1-2
1. And after six days the Yeshua taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

That is … The Olivet "removed to the north" …

The location of the Transfiguration Mount is interesting. 

Where Jesus was afterwards is probably a poor indicator, as the gospels themselves do not agree on this fact, with Matthew putting them near Gedara, and Mark and Luke putting them in Gerasa, some number of miles away.  There are no mountains near Gerasa, which probably rules it out, and there are little more than hills near Gedara, which should make us suspicious of it as well.

It appears to me that there is some unrecorded duration between their descent of the mountain, and the latter part of that chapter.

On the other hand, where Jesus was immediately BEFORE the Transfiguration is a pretty good indicator.  Matthew 16:13 names the city specifically as Caesarea-Philippi, and Matthew 17 puts them "in Galilee."  Know what's unique about Caesarea-Philippi?  It's right at the base of Mount Hermon, which, you probably know, is the largest mountain in Israel.

And that's a serious understatement.  It's the largest mountain by orders of magnitude - you can see Jaifa, Carmel, the entire Megiddo valley, Lebanon as far as the curving of the Mediterranean, Syria as far as Damascus, all of the hills of Ephraim, the edges of Judea, and the Jordan all the way to the Dead Sea, when standing at the top of it.  You can see the curvature of the earth out over the Mediterranean in one direction and over the plain of norther Syria looking the other direction.

We can call it speculation, but I'm pretty doggone sure that Jesus didn't take them to some other "mountain" in the area.  The gospel writer didn't call some little foothill in the vicinity a "high mountain," when it was sitting there looking like a molehill next to Mount Hermon.  I can tell you what they did during the six days mentioned in Mat 17:1, though.  They climbed.  It took all of that time to get to the top of that mountain on foot.  (It took me about 2 hours in a military grade vehicle going up some grades more than double the legal limit here).

Anyway, your post is (as always) provocative and interesting.

Frankly, I don't see why you can't have it both ways.  If Mount Olivet is divided, according to a signification, and not literally (which is literally impossible), why mightn't Mount Hermon be the "Northern part?"

And, if I may posit a guess, I would make Mount Nebo for the "Southern part," based upon who it was that met Jesus on the mountain.

Perhaps the visible mountains are not the mountains of which the Scripture speaks, or the mountains which are intended. Luke, quoting Isaiah, records that John the Baptist preached that Messiah would level the field and that every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be brought low. Already then our entire understanding of mountains should reflect a supernal understanding because Yeshua came not to destroy men or the physical world.

Luke 3:3-6
3.  And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
4.  As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Kuriou, make his paths straight.
5.  Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
6.  And all flesh shall see the salvation of the Theou.

The moment therefore when we read the phrase "high mountain" in Matthew the moment then the entire context becomes supernal in meaning because this phrase "high mountain" is found only four times in all of the New Testament Greek, and the first two occurrences are both found in Matthew.

Matthew 4:8
8.  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high (GSN#3735 oros) mountain, (GSN#5308 hupselos) and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them.

Matthew 17:1

Mark 9:2

This "high mountain" is therefore now become a direct reference to Jerusalem of Above and to Mount Zion of Above because they are one and the same in typology. These are clearly stated to be allegorical and therefore supernal in Galatians and Hebrews. Hebrews states that we have not come to a "mount" or mountain that might be touched.

Galatians 4:24-26
24.  Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25.  For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26.  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Hebrews 12:18-24
18.  For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

Mount Zion is "IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH"

Psalms 48:1-14
1.  Great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised in the city of our 'Elohey, in the mountain of his holiness.
2.  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
3.  'Elohiym is known in her palaces for a refuge.
4.  For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
5.  They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
6.  Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
7.  Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

Perhaps then the "mountains" spoken of above in the Gospel accounts are not "mountains" as we know them but perhaps rather what is truly a "mountain" is what YHWH says is a mountain. These would be known to us from the Scripture as pillars, altars, and the memorials of the patriarchs. We have a clue to one of these places, Bethel, given in the beginning chapter of the Gospel of John. Bethel is where Jacob met 'Elohiym, had his name changed, and where 'Elohiym went up from after several times speaking and appearing to Jacob-Israel.

John 1:48-51
48.  Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Yeshua answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
49.  Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of the Theou! thou art the King of Israel!
50.  Answered Yeshua and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51.  And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of the Theou ascending and descending over the Son of man.

We can know for a fact, (if we will simply believe it) by the Scriptures quoted in my first post above that the disciples were not at the traditional mount of Olives when Yeshua appeared to them in GALILEE where he had told them that he would appear first, neither was it the traditional mount of Olives which they returned from in Acts 1:11, and neither did they return to the physical city of Jerusalem in the first chapter of Acts. Rather they were in Galilee as the statement of the two messengers in white suggests: "Ye men of GALILEE, why stand ye gazing into heaven?" The disciples then returned to the UPPER ROOM and what does the upper room in Galilee represent? Most certainly Jerusalem of above and Mount Zion of above. This is why they returned to Jerusalem "holding to the Sabbath Way" or according to the Sabbath Way. This word "HODOS" (way) is the same word used of "THE WAY" which Paul adhered to, which was called heresy by the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes, of both that time and even the same ones today who because they refuse to become disciples of the Word; cannot see anything symbolic because it would require them to actually study the Word to understand the symbolism. The story of Hezekiah is a perfect example of Jerusalem of above. Hezekiah is told that he will be healed and GO UP into the House of YHWH in the THIRD DAY.

2 Kings 20:5-11
5.  Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith YHWH, 'Elohey of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: in the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of YHWH.
6.  And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
7.  And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered, (notice Hezekiah is physically "recovered" at this point).

Bethabara - House of the Ford (of Jabbok) or Ferry Boat ~

In John 1:28 the Textus Receptus records GSN#962 Bethabara whereas the GNT Morph combined Greek Texts record the more common GSN#963 Bethania. There were in fact two locales known as Bethany and the one referred to as Bethabara is the one known to have been at the Jordan where John had been baptizing. The translation of GSN#4008 peran as meaning beyond is probably incorrect when compared with the other Scripture evidence, (presented in the link below).

This Bethany is located within the typological, (and topographical) place of "a rib" and is on the right side of the Jordan rather than "beyond Jordan" as is widely translated. The phrase "in the side of the Jordan" concerns the tribal allotment of Benjamin. The name Benjamin-Binyamiyn also translates as "son of the right hand" (side). Rachel, the wife of Jacob, had died within the same area of the tribal allotment of Benjamin as he was born, which was "in the way" between Bethel of Canaan and Ephrath-Bethlehem somewhere near the Tower of the Flock, (Zion). However, the tribal allotment of Benjamin was of those seven allotted at the very last, in Joshua 18, and thus all of this was ordained by YHWH and not planned by any man.



WHERE then was it that Christ was received up into the cloud while the disciples looked on? It was "Bethabara in the side of Jordan" which was one of two different places both having been called Bethany. The "Bethabara in the side of Jordan" is also the same place where 'Elohiym went up from Jacob after changing his name to Israel, ('Elohiym Beyt-'El).

It can be very confusing because Strong's somewhat misrepresents and confuses the plural of elaia, which is elaion, and the plural of the separate and singular word elaion, which is elaionos, as though they were the same word although they are given distinct and separate number references. This has led to much confusion and therefore, as always, we must allow the Scripture to interpret for us what is meant by each word according to its usage in the various passages. The KJV got it right when Elaionos was translated as OLIVET.

14 Nisan  ~  The Great Day of Atonement

Nadab and Abihu died before YHWH; for they had offered strange fire, (alcohol on the breath mingled with the incense coming up?). Shortly after this event YHWH commands Moses to move the "rehearsal date" of the Great Day of Atonement to the tenth day of the seventh month, (10 Tishri, Yom Kippur).

Leviticus 16:1-2
1. And spake YHWH unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before YHWH, and died;
2. And said YHWH unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

The YHWH then gives the commandments for the day of Atonement
And at the end of the passage the Scripture says this:

Leviticus 16:29-30
29. And it shall be a statute for ever unto you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home-born, or the stranger that sojourneth among you:
30. Because in this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins shall ye be clean before YHWH.

What is the "BECAUSE IN THIS DAY" of which he speaks? It is the day in which the two sons of Aaron had died before YHWH because they had offered strange fire. Apparently also the whole ceremony combined together was too much for mortal men to adequately perform, (see Lev.10:16-20). The Great Atonement was to take place on the same day in which Nadab and Abihu had died before YHWH. There are several evidences which should prove to the disciple of the Word beyond any doubt that the Great Day in which the Glory of YHWH appeared to the children of Israel was indeed 14 Nisan.

The standing up of the Tabernacle  ~  1st of Nisan of the 2nd Year

14. And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
15. And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

17. And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

However, the commandment concerning the Altar is that it is to be consecrated seven days, then cleansed, and then anointed. The commandment concerning Aaron and his sons and all those who would follow is that they be anointed and consecrated seven days. Therefore when the Altar and all of the vessels are anointed it implies that all of the commandments were followed in so much that the seven days of the consecration of the Altar had been accomplished before the Altar could have been cleansed and anointed for the services. Yet also we see that Aaron and his sons were anointed the same day as the Altar, Tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof. YHWH also had spoken to Moses and commanded that the Passover be kept that year, (Num.9:1-3) and the Passover was the fourteenth of this same month. Therefore Moses knew that all things absolutely must necessarily be prepared within the first thirteen days of Nisan in order to also keep the Passover on the fourteenth.

Exodus 29:35-37
35. And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
36. And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
37. Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

Returning to Exodus 40 then: while rearing up the Tabernacle Moses immediately begins the seven days of the consecration of the Brazen Altar of the burnt offering sacrifice:

Exodus 40:28-33
28. And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
29. And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as YHWH commanded Moses.
30. And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
31. And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
32. When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as YHWH commanded Moses.
33. And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

And the Altar is only to be cleansed, (by the sprinkling of innocent blood) and anointed after the seven days of its consecrations have been completed. The Altar was therefore able to be cleansed and anointed somewhere in 7 Nisan. At the same time Aaron and his sons were also anointed with the holy anointing oil and then the seven days of their consecrations began.

12. And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
13. And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as YHWH commanded Moses.
14. And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.
15. And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

Aaron and his sons may not from this point leave the door of the Tabernacle for the entire seven days of their consecration, lest they die.

30. And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

33. And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.

Mishael and Elzaphan were now both of them defiled with the dead Nadab and Abihu, which died before YHWH, because Mishael and Elzaphan carried their carcasses out of the camp. Surely these two men Mishael and Elzaphan are the men spoken of in Numbers 9 where YHWH commands that the Passover also must be kept in this first year out of Egypt.

Numbers 9:1-6
1. And spake YHWH unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2. Let the children of Israel also keep the Passover at his appointed season.
3. In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.

Thus the Great Day of Atonement is proven to be 14 Nisan; even the same Great Day in which Yeshua was Crucified at Golgotha; which was the morning after the Transfiguration of the same 14 Nisan after sundown the night before, and the appearing of the Cloud of the Glory of YHWH in the Holy Mount just before Yeshua was betrayed and arrested...

    This is too good! Even 5th graders KNOW there has never been a WORLDWIDE earthquake! It is preposterous to even think there has been. But that is the way with Preterism: such verses are spiritualized into meaning anything else but what the Author meant them to mean.  No, when John wrote that there would be a worldwide earthquake, that is EXACTLY the meaning. And it has never happened yet. Neither has ANY of the 7 trumpet judgments happened, nor ANY of the 7 vials been pour out.

Sorry, all preterists need to RETAKE 5th grade.

By the way, did you know that in 2014-2015 there will be a tetrad of 4 blood red moons? Did you know there is an eclipse of the sun between the middle two? (The sun will turn dark and the moon into blood....)  Did you know that each blood red moon will fall on an Anniversary date of a Jewish feast?  Now, how many times has this happened in the last 1000 years? Well, it happened in 1948, and it happened in 1967. Wonder what will happen THIS TIME?

My guess is, the 6th seal events. It is still FUTURE.

Yes, I know. But I was speaking of a total eclipse of the moon. Total eclipses are rare. Having two in a row is more rare, and having a tetrad, or four in a row is extremely rare. But having a tetrad and all four fall on anniversary dates of Jewish feasts is not only extremely rare, it is a SIGN. It happened last in 1967, and before that in 1948. Before that it was hundreds of years.

So coming in the fall of 2014 to the spring of 2015 we have a very remarkable sign coming, of the sun turning dark and the moon into blood.
