Why must you, John?
« on: Tue Apr 20, 2010 - 19:01:22 »
  Consider the following scripture....
Rev. 10:10-11  And I took the little book out of the angels hand, and ate it up: and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I has "eaten" it, my belly was bitter.  And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Have you ever wondered WHY John was told that he had to "prophecy gain"?  If we view prophetic scripture from our own time perspective,  (as if all events are still all yet future) we won't understand why John was told this.
If we view this question from John's perspective, and WHERE he is in the order of events, we have a very clear understanding WHY John had to be told, he had to "prophecy again."
Looking at events through John's eyes, we can view what HAS ALREADY HAPPENED.  Up to this point in prophetic time, What has John Witnessed occuring so far in revelation?   More importantly, was is still yet future from John's time perspective?
What we are witnessing Here in the tenth Chapter, could be considered "half time'  of this end time drama that is being played out.  Up to this prophetic point in time, John has witnessed the Birthpains in the Seals, climaxing with the Ezekiel 38 war, and the strong delusion in the sixth seal.  The first four trumpets  have mirrorred the vials of the wrath of God, only smaller in scope, followed by Satan and his hordes of fallen ones being cast to earth in the fifth and sixth trumpets, the first two woes.
Everything John has witnessed up till now, has been a series of events that has established the false messiah's Kingdom.
It is AFTER John is told, he must "prophecy again' , do we witness the description of the 42 month reign of the false messiah, in the 11th, 12th, and 13th chapters.  This in turn is followed by the "two harvests" the vials of the wrath of God, and the final battle.   What we have witnessed in the seals and first six trumpets, has been a "mirror image" of events still yet future.
This not only explains WHY John was told to "prophecy again", but it would also explain why the Little book John ate , (the word of God) Would be "sweet to the lips, but "bitter in the Belly" once it was "digested" or understood.  This event we see occuring in revelation, is paralell timewise with the following event in daniel 11.
daniel 11:33-36 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall bhy the sword, and by flame, and by captivity, and by spoil, many days.  Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: and many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
Notice in daniel 11:36, it begins to describe the reign of the false messiah, after those that understand are spoken of.   it is no coincidence that right after John is told to "prophecy again, revelation begins to describe the very  same 42 month time frame, that Daniel does.
John must "prophecy again, because there will be a near perfect "duplication' of events that occur.  The first set (seals and first six trumpets before the 42 montth reign of the false messiah, and the second, before the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus christ!!!!
