In another's words.

I have long ago discovered that if I should say or write a thing contrary to what I call modern churchianity, I will be scorned, rejected and accused of being bitter and unforgiving. So I place a quote from a past 'preacher' that will be more readily accepted.
This does provide some food for thought:The old testament kings killed the prophets of their day.Israel in the time of Jesus praised the prophets of the old testament. Israel rejected Jesus, killing Him and killing many of the believers of that day. Down through the centuries 'church leaders' honored the slain christians of the first century and exalted Christ as their lord. But they, in turn, killed many believers of their day. Is it any wonder that the true prophets of God today are quickly and decisively given the 'right foot of fellowship' right out the door? If the pattern continues, in a hundred years the true rejected prophets of today will be honored. What a mess.

The disciples came to Him and asked, “Do You realize You offended the Pharisees by what You just said?
