Everything is being blamed on lack of labor, which very well may be true~but the present government has caused this~if you want to know how, just ask and we should be able to prove it. We have had FOUR increases in irrigation parts this year! But, it is just not there it is everywhere inflation is soaring, something must and will say enough is enough and companies will begin to close shop.

Just got back from the dentist and he told me that when he first came to Easley, there were only eight offices here that served this area, now there are 23 and all but three are now part of a corporation that are buying up offices all across America and once that is completed it will turn into selling mad house to see how much each one can sell to folks, prices are going out of sight, even much higher then they are now. He said he is being pressured to sell to them but he said he has no desire to be a slave to big time business~so the CEO can make his wife's closet twice as big as the average house.

Big Corporations are sucking up every business out there~Small businesses one day will be a thing of the past, and most likely small businesses like mine will be gone it just make take longer, who knows. Well, they have for the most part have taken over the maintenance part of it. https://www.lawnandlandscape.com/article/top-100-lawn-care-landscaping-companies-2019/ these companies do over 2-3 billion dollars a year!

I just came back from a fill up.

It is still 3.35 at BP and Amoco.

I get a 7cent discount at the Amoco with their club plan.

Other stations are above these.

Monday may tell a new story

Here in South Carolina it is around $2.70 plus or minus~ was a low as $2.61 about two weeks ago at Sams see here as of yesterday: https://www.gasbuddy.com/gasprices/south-carolina/greenville/293

Just about everything is lower in the Southeast than in most other areas of our country. It's call righteous living~The Lord is smiling upon us.  ::smile:: Truly, I do not know why, but overall it is so much cheaper to live in the south. I think the overall reason has to do with TAXES the STATES put on commodities, etc.

We're at around $1.30/litre, with the conversion that is $3.88 USD. Prices are fairly consistent across the country, even in Alberta where they at one time enjoyed significantly lower gas prices.

Tulsa is $2.89
OKC is $2.59

Jaime, where do y'all get your supply? If you're getting it from refineries farther south, and the hurricanes slowed them down, that might be a reason you're higher than us. But if you're getting your supply from Holly in Artesia, they should be running at full production rate. Your state taxes may be higher, too, IDK. We have two refineries in Tulsa running at full production rate, plus several others in the state. We usually have low fuel prices here - but cost of living is pretty low here, too.

Most of our gasoline comes from Big Spring which is about 40 miles away. We are typically one of the highest prices in the state no matter what the circumstances are. Typically I can drive 100 miles in any direction and pay $.20 to $.40 less for gasoline.

I'm in Arizona.  During my recent trip to California, the gas prices were well over $4.
