John 15:18  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Welcome grannie, we need a grannie in the group ::smile:: I've been in forums for years now and have been called every name in the book for my beliefs. Just stand strong in your convictions of what you believe and just be about your Fathers business and don't worry about the wolves who seek to devour. Usually I just sit back and shake my head and sometimes the wolves make ya laugh.

this is not so much a rant as it is a question.. i cant understand how fellow christians can  make rude remarks to someone just because they dont believe the exact same thing. i just joined this group and my first post was on when we thought the rapture would take place. it ask us to say what we believed. whether pre tibulaion, post , etc. i happen to believe in post. my first responce was very mean hearted and it hurt me deeply.why ask a question if you dont want to hear the answer.  ::shrug::i wouldnt make fun of someone else because they believe in pre tribulation , so i cant understand why someone would be mean to me because of what i believe.

Haha you're not alone! 95% of people here are rude to me. Got mocked, rude remarks, hurt for a moment.... Ignore it and move on ::smile::

apparently dear Lady Mr. Reubin seems to feel that I can possibly make new Christians suddenly cast off their beliefs for more sinful hedonistic ways.  most of the rudeness is directed at me so far...it seems so anywho.  but I implore you to make up your own mind and believe as you do.   if you believe in the Christian path then stick with that. don't let anyone change your mind.  and Godbless you. ::amen!::

is that what you're aiming for or something?  You keep bringing it up...odd.

I don't think people hate you.  Trust you? No, but that's not the same as hate.

not aiming for anything... just to get questions answered  and maybe even learn something here or there.

Then how come you keep bringing up how much you think you are hated?  ::headscratch::

Some opinions are best left unsaid. It's called good judgement.

if we left things to good judgment then nothing would get said.

Back to topic and the Opening Post.
grannytwoshoes claimed that the response to her first post here at Grace Centered was rude and very mean hearted.
I was that first post.

grannytwoshoes:
how can we overcome if we are not here to do it?

By that comment grannie think's Christ's saints should be overcoming through the end time tribulation. And I replied:

inthenow:
You should be overcoming now grannie.

grannietwoshoes:
i believe that the pre rapture is a way for satan to come in an fool people

That sounds like she believe satan performs a pre rapture. And I replied:

inthenow:
I havn't seen bible verses showing satan performing a rapture.

And for that post of mine grannytwoshoes calls me rude and very mean hearted, and you in this thread have said of me: some people are not like me, have lost all my manners, maybe he used to be a lot worse, wolf among sheep, predator baring fangs, snake, whitewashed tomb full of rotting flesh, dog, (the last six from just one poster), and the next poster agreed with all he said, while still others apologised to granny for the rude and very mean hearted things I said.

Gal_5:9  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

A woman brings in leaven and it spreads through the whole lump. That's what has happened here in this thread.

Wow, and this thread looked like it wound up rather pleasantly on the final post of the previous page ... Welcome to the forum grannietwoshoes!

Gal_5:9  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

A woman brings in leaven and it spreads through the whole lump. That's what has happened here in this thread.

"A woman brings in leaven ..."

Perhaps there is indeed a language barrier as someone else has already suggested elsewhere? Not really sure if there is a language barrier but I do know one thing and that is that you probably just succeeded in offending approximately half the population of the PLANET.  ::doh::

And in fact the parable of the WOMAN with the leaven is the only positive message concerning leaven, (because it pertains to Ophel the Holy Mount).

Matthew 13:33 KJV
33. Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

The "leaven" concerns rulers, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Herodians
Also the "doctrinal" mindsets which they held and taught:

Matthew 16:5-12 KJV
5. And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
6. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
7. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
8. Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9. Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10. Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
11. How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12. Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Mark 8:14-16 KJV
14. Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
15. And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
16. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

And when it comes to sin "leaven" is stated to concern hypocrisy:

Luke 12:1-2 KJV
1. In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Perhaps you might brush up on your English, get into the Word, and hope the "women" around here can forgive you ...
