BAD MANNERS
« on: Sun Feb 02, 2014 - 19:38:28 »
 ::frown::

What is your pet peeve about manners, or rather the lack of them?

try to limit your list to ONE. (ha!)

1.  people not giving their full attention to others around them when talking, due to cyber-toys.

2.  (what's your "top-of-the-list"?)

Seems like no one has phone etiquette anymore! People are so rude on the phone! I can't stand rudeness!

1(a) men who don't open doors for women, and
1(b) women who get indignant when a man does so.

People who show off/boast about their new cars, phones, tabs, watches, jewellery, clothes etc etc etc .What they don't seem to realise is that some of us just aren't in the least interested in luxury items(at least I'm not).

Men who go on Christian men's weekends and simply HAVE to take their latest electronic gadgets and use them at meal times and other times. Its very rude.
I think my husband was the only man who didn't take one last time. He though it was funny, but I think they are acting like little boys showing off their new toys. Sad.

People who are rude to shop workers. I think that everyone should have to work in a shop for a month, and that may give them more sympathy and patience.

People who look around the room when someone is speaking to them, very rude.

People who think they are the bees knees just because they are rich and/or famous.

Women/men who eye up other men/women's husbands/wives. People who go so far as to flirt with other men's/women's spouses.

I am on a roll now, but I will stop there for the moment.  ::eek::

Oh one more,
Drivers who think that the rules of the road don't apply to them just because they own BMW's, Audi's or a Mercedes. We see it all the time here in the UK.

In the forum....Great walls of text when a simple answer will do.

In R/L...Condescension and deliberate interruption.
