New job
« on: Sun May 20, 2018 - 07:36:20 »
Hi all,

I started a new job a month ago and really like it. I was at my other one for 10-12 years and needed a change. Thing is, I am soo tired - more so by the time the weekend is here. I do get to work a bit earlier than I did in my other job but also get home a bit earlier. This past Friday night, I went to bed at 8pm and struggled keeping my eyes open last night but went to bed at my usual time. Today, I opted to stay home from church. I left my place to go and realized I just felt off and turned around and went back. Not every week is like this. I'm trusting that after a while I'll get used to it and NOT be sooo tired.

I've also had some stress personally, long-term friendships changing.  I had the strength to do something about it and walk away because they just weren't balanced/good for my well being.  I went back to said friends as I didn't like the unfinished feeling and it sort of confirmed that I'd backed away for good reason. Anyway, I am just tired.

Has anyone else been especially tired after starting a new job?

Anything new like that can be quite hard and draining for a time. You will soon get your energy back I am sure.
