The best remedy i have ever seen to fight obesity would be to have 10 grams of honey, along with a glass of warm water. Take this early in the morning, on an empty stomach. If found effective, the dose can be increased with time.

Having green tea has been found to be beneficial in treating obesity. You can also consume tea made from dandelion root. I hope these home remedies will be beneficial to you guys fighting against obesity. If you have any idea regarding weight loss, do reply here.

That's a good one. The only thing I do different is to put the juice of 1/2 of a lemon in too. Lemon juice is an anti-scorbutic and refrigerant. (It destroys the toxins in the body.) This detoxifying property arises from its high potassium content.

Diets do not work! If they do, that is for short period of time, and then, after that, you gain the weight you loss because of your deprivation, caused by a diet! The more you deprive yourself from food, the more you will overeat after that. When you deprive yourself from food, the body gets into starvation mood, and it starts to conserve your fat, because your body thinks, that it is going to starve.
Go on a diet, only if you want to gain weight, not to loose it!
If you try to eat, only when you feel really hungry, your weight will become normal, not too skinny, and not too fat, in a few months. For some people, it can take 6 months, and for others 9 months. It depends on various factors and is very individual, but eventually, eating only when you are hungry, will help to become a normal weight. Of course, there is the genetic component, but this advice is general.
Also, each time you eat, try to eat portions, not bigger than your fist, because that is about the size of your stomach, when it is empty. That will be enough to keep you going and feel satisfied. When you eat, only when your are hungry, that is the time, when your brain sends signals to your stomach, to get ready for food and digestion. When you are hungry, that is when most digestive juices are produced. Hunger is the best cook. When you eat only when you are hungry, your body gets only the calories it needs for its functions and no more. Your body will be able to assimilate most of the food.

What is the honey supposed to do, and will sugar-free honey work since I'm diabetic? I would think that honey alone only diluted with water would be very sweet, or are they taken separately? That would make the honey way too sweet--even the sugar-free. I like the idea of adding lemon juice, which should cut down on the sweetness.

I agree, though, that diets don't work. The best thing to do is to eat a healthy, balanced low-fat, low-sugar, and low-salt diet all the time. I'm not sure what things are good for you, but I do know some of the things that are not good in high amounts.

Flax seed oil capsules have helped speed up my slow metabolism and helped it so many ways it amazing to me.  My hair/nails grows healthier, my skin seems less dry, I have more energy, and many other little things.  I stopped them while I went through a hard time in my life and now I need to start them again to get rid of the 47 pounds of depression eating.

Surprisingly, I found that if I eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast I don't get the hungeries or the cravings that pester me when I don't.

Well, thanks for sharing useful information...In my point of view When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together....If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier...!
