my cousin the Neanderthal
« on: Fri Jul 22, 2011 - 16:26:41 »
Not sure where to post this, nor what to think of this recent discovery, did our early ancestors have sex with Neanderthals?  Or maybe women were raped by them, for they sure are not attractive to my female eye  ::blushing::

or Ne·an·der·tal  \-ˌtȯl, -ˌtäl\ : a hominid (Homo neanderthalensis syn H. sapiens neanderthalensis) known from skeletal remains in Europe, northern Africa, and western Asia that lived from about 30,000 to 200,000 years ago —calIf your heritage is non-African, you are part Neanderthalled also Neanderthal man
2: one who suggests a caveman in appearance, mentality, or behavior

---------------
If your heritage is non-African, you are part Neanderthal, the Neanderthal genome was sequenced. The researchers could then compare the haplotype to the Neanderthal genome as well as to the DNA of existing humans. The scientists found that the sequence was present in people across all continents, except for sub-Saharan Africa, and including Australia.

very interesting... I have often looked at my husband and thought he reminded me of a caveman... he is Dutch , Irish and German... ::smile:: At any rate I have my own small theology that cavemen were the products of Genesis 6:4 ... I often wonder if children bore of angels would produce such giants and larger skeletal bone structures and or deformities... and if these man/angels were that large then they could come upon any people group and call themselves Gods... my guess of Greek and Roman Mythology... but thtas my own little idea and Im no scientist...
