What if no wars had ever occurred?

Over 400,000,000+ people have died in all the wars to date.

I cannot wrap my head around the math so I'm asking here;  If there never were any wars:
what would the world look like today--
would we have consumed all our natural resources by now?
would what oil we have be already gone?
would ____________
would ____________
would ____________
would ____________

Somebody here, help me fill in the blanks

Hypothetical in the sense that there would be more people to fall victim to disease outbreaks, perhaps the black plague would have claimed 300 million lives rather than 150 million.

Have you included all the wars there were in the BC days?

NO, Oil would not have already been gone. But the surge of abortions would have multiplied and we would of necessity be more socialistic as governments would need to step in to handle all the etra people because there would not be enough work for everyone

The doom upon America today is that this nation of fools has NOT learned the lesson of history.  We continue to wage international war with no regard to consequences of our actions or the cost.   In terms of blood and treasure, America has suffered only defeat and debt since the end of the Viet name conflict.  We have not won a war since 1945, yet we continue to engage in it.

We have become a nation of fools, believing our ability to make war will protect us.  We rely upon the gun instead of God, thus our streets are riddled with bullets and riot instead of peace and quiet.

The lesson of history tells us that guns eventually run out of ammunition.  God never runs out of grace.   

Our nation has turned its back upon the inexhaustible supply of mercy from God and has embraced our own bankrupt monetary and military systems.   We shall and will continue to pay a terrible price for our lack of vision.

God will NOT bless America, because our god is now the gun.

God does not hear the prayer of sinners except when uttered in humble and sincere repentance.

It is time to repent.....

We have not won a war since 1945, yet we continue to engage in it.

We actually won that war.  There was a sign peace agreement, the Paris Peace Accord, signed on January 27, 1073.  But when the democrats took control of congress they defunded the effort required to assist South Vietnam in keeping North Vietnam in check.  Once North Vietnam realized what congress had done, they moved with all haste to overrun South Vietnam.  We won the war, the democrats reneged and essentially gave North Vietnam the victory.  Not at all unlike what Obama did with Iraq in pulling out all our troops and assistance after we had won that war.  In the case with Vietnam we won the war but the democrats simply turned the South over to the North and walked away.

Once the US tucked tail and ran from South Vietnam ARVN was no longer an effective fighting force.  The South Vietnamese government and its military were corrupt beyond recovery and no amount of money could have saved the issue.  NVA were waiting for the most opportune moment to strike and they took it.

The primary problem with the US government both then and now is to attempt to resolve a problem by throwing money at it.  If money fails, then everyone cries, "how terrible."  At that point the military is called in.  The money leaks away like water through a sieve and though our military can win battles it can no longer win a war.  This is due to inept leadership within the ranks and to our government which became politically incoherent following Nov. 22, 1963.

The primary axiom of WAR tells us that an army holding the field following a fight is the declared winner.

Following the fall of Saigon in 1975, the NVA held the field.   This is an undisputed fact of history.  Politically confused Americans may deny the historic record, but it is fact nonetheless.

Failure of the US to win a war is also true for Korea, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Syria, Iraq & Afghanistan.  Currently there are at least a half dozen other small wars going on the outcome of which has not yet been decided.   

Americans are like sheep. 
When led to green pastures, we follow.
When led to shearing, we follow.
When led to the butcher, we follow.

We have turned our collective backs upon God and as a result we will not be blessed in most of the things we try to do - including aggression upon other lands and nations.

That is the case only when the field is what the war is being fought over. A war such as Iraq or Afghanistan is not simply about a field.
