attending an ICC church tomorrow....

i'm new to the ICC...a new ICC was planted in our community and tomorrow will be my second time there!!

My wife and I, along with my daughter and her husband who live in San Angelo, visited yesterday at the Christian Church of San Angelo.  Over all, it was a very good worship experience.  It was different from what I know of Christian Churches, being heavily contemporary praise oriented with a small band.  Being an
a cappella preference, my wife and I both enjoyed the IM worship experience--but still prefer the non-IM worship!  It was a very young congregation (member age) with between 150 and 200 there and the majority of adults being in their mid to late twenties and thirties.  dress was very informal.  They had a huge number of children!  The songs were familiar (of course), saw a baptism of a young woman by a slightly older young woman who had been teaching her, and saw girls and women helping and speaking in the worship--something we don't see in our CoC!  Sure would be nice if my daughter and her husband, who have not been able to find a CoC in San Angelo that they feel comfortable at, would attend this church.  The worship was the same kind of experience we have enjoyed at Stream over the years.

Sounds very similar to our church in Tulsa.  I don't remember having seen a female baptize anyone before?  I know our pastor would be all for it though.
