Hi Zotah, I'm sorry I took so long getting to this but I hope this helps you in your study.

Matthew 13:55-57 Jesus had four brothers and at least 2 sisters

55  Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56  And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57  And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
 
Jesus' brethren did not believe in him during His earthly life but joined those in prayer in Acts 1:14. These are some notes from the Scofield Bible.

Jn 7:3, 5   

3  His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy
disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
     
5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

   Larry aren't we all brothers and sister in Christ?  I always thought BRETHERN
   meant just that.  Have I once again learned sometning new?

Hi dear brother. Spiritual brethren certainly believe in Jesus unlike his siblings. He went on to say in Matthew 13:57  "Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house."
