Let me know if the wels  link i have given  does not work .

closed/close  communion practices. This is not merely WELS teaching. Besides being the teaching of Scripture, it is the teaching of the vast majority of Christians.  It is the teaching of the whole Christian church throughout most of history.  It is still  the teaching of the majority today,

This very recent question  and the answer from WELS.net /questions and answers---- is a very good read.

Count me among the mightiest of sinner's,
for One must bear real and true sins to be saved. God does not save imaginary sinner's. So let your sins be strong but your faith in Jesus ,his blood bought forgiveness for your sin's ---be stronger still.
