This is so simplistic and banal, it is amazing that any Catholic would use it to argue anything.

The author of this video is a Sedevacantist, not a Catholic.

Luther was a good and faithful Catholic priest who tried very hard to reform the church from within.  The Catholic leaders at the time were so angry over having their faults pointed out that they rejected Luther and renounced him.  Only then did Luther's admirers beg him to start a new church where poor people could receive the blessings of a church even if they had no money for the collection plate.  The principles and doctrines of what we now call Protestantism were worked out gradually over the years.

This little film is laughable.  It seems to fault Martin Luther for not jumping up one day and declaring himself a protestant long before the term was in use.  Did Saint  Peter call himself a Catholic?  The reformation was a gradual process that began with Luther while he was still a Catholic priest.

This is foolishness. Just because Luther did evolve his beliefs gradually, does not imply anything about the corrupt Roman Church, then and now, being anything close to right. The fact that they impose dogmatic and non-biblical ideas such as the Assumption of Mary, the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Indulgence at all, Purgatory at all, etc, indicate that they wrong. That Luther realised this gradually is indication that he is human. Simple.
