Pray for everyone!
« on: Wed Dec 31, 2008 - 18:58:07 »
Why pray for everyone? Because we are all going through trials and tribulations every day of our lives! Let me tell you something important- a few years ago I went to the Dr. for my regular check-up, I never in my mind would of thought for a second i'd hear these words, there's a lump that shouldn't be there so you need further test- What's the first thing that goes through your mind WHEN we hear these words, we think we are going to die, right? I was in total shock, I didn't know WHAT to say, she said she'd make me an appointment with a surgeon, a surgeon was the farthest thing from my mind. I just shook my head, yes. The next day she called me with the appointment which was in two days, when I went she, the surgeon told me I had to go to the hospital for a sample to be sure if it's cancer or not, anyway after that and the test she said it wasn't cancer but I told her I wanted it out, she said it wasn't necessary but I told her I want it out now, something was telling me inside my head to get it cut out, anyway, after the surgery two days later after she looked at it under a microscope at my appointment she told me there WAS a cell developing that shouldn't of been there, all I could think about was God, He must of been speaking through me. Now today the Dr's say there WASN'T any cancer, okay than, tell me where did it go? Was it God? Did He cure me?!!!!!I must be a miracle, because, who talked through me to get it cut out? Where did it GO? You know what? It doesn't matter, only-only God can truly answer that one!!!!!!!!!! So, now when we go through trials and tribulations in our every day lives we must remember this, God knows and He answers prayers, i'm a witness too that. I forgot to put in there after my Dr. told me she found a lump- when I went home, at first I was hurt and angry, than I realized something, I got down on my knees and cried like i've never cried before! And, the MOST important thing, I prayed, I begged God to spair my life, I have 4 children who need me! Did He hear my cries? Did He hear my prayer? And the answer is YES!!!!!!!!!
Now, when we go through our trials and tribulations we must remember THIS, WHAT did Jesus do for us? He was beaten, He was hung on the cross, WHY? For US! Think of WHAT He went through! God gave His one and only son to DIE for US! We so often think of ourselves when we don't realize our true purpose in our life is God Himself! He gave us His son, He made the earth, the air we breath, the water we drink, the food we eat, and yet so often we get strayed by it and its desires. Why, because of our sinful self that lives deep within us, and when we go through hurt and pain, it even sometimes makes us stray from our one true purpose, is what i'm getting at is, the devil lurks everywhere, trying to devour us, he wants us to blame God and put other things before God, but, when we go through these things, we must- we must keep our faith even stronger in God, pray, cry, He hears us, all He asks is for us as His sons and daughters, all of us who are brothers and sisters in Christ to always-always remember Him, for He truly IS our one true purpose in life, so, when we all pray together we are united with God, when WE are united with God, He hears us all TOGETHER which makes us even stronger through Him!!!!!  He will guide us through our lifes journies!! Than, in the end, we will be beside Him in our one true home, Heaven itself.God bless you all! followeroffaith

truly the Lord did not come for one, or the few but the many.  His love was so great that salvation became available to not only the Jews his chosen people, but the whole world.   God was not fooling around
when he came down, it is not like he was looking for a good time, for he came from Heaven,
and this place is so far from that.  He indeed could have had the world and made a great party,
and indulge in pleasure for even the the devil offered him the world in a splendid place.
But he was not tempted not, and he indeed paid the price.  The Lord has said he knows what we have
gone through for he has, but he failed not. Hold your ground faint not, for we all know a little effort goes a long way.   The greatest commandment was to love one another, and nothing greater is there, that one
can do but pray for another.
