Before anybody says anything, here's a warning:  It's R-rated for language & sexual innuendo.  It's full of 'f-bombs' & 'sexually explicit' humor.  (No graphic gore & no nudity other than a scene of a bare bottom*.)

The movie is about these two people who get involved in an army experiment & find themselves 500 years in the future.  The "great minds" leading up to 'the future' concentrated on nothing but restoring hair loss & increasing sexual pleasure, which led to society of 500 years from now being 'dumbed down' to the point of obsurdity.  The FDA is bought out by a private businessman & water is replaced with this energy drink called Brondo.  All the plants start dying off because they're being "watered" with Brondo instead of water.  When the main guy character says he'd like a drink of water, another guy says "What? Like from da toilet?" and laughs at him like HE's the moron.

*The bare bottom appeared in the Oscar-winning movie of the future "Axx" (spelling censored by me) which featured nothing but a full screen view of someone's bare bottom.  The audience is shown to be laughing hysterically & mesmerized/totally entertained ... sitting in the theatre, eating popcorn, & staring at this nekkid rear-end.

It really is an extremely funny movie - not for kids - but I think it had a valid (unfortunate) prediction of what our world could look like in 500 years based upon a lot of the priorities of today.  Whenever my husb or I see something absolutely idiotic happening 'today', we remember this movie & shake our heads ...

Pvt. Joe Bowers:  What *are* these electrolytes? Do you even know?
Secretary of State:  They're... what they use to make Brawndo!
Pvt. Joe Bowers:  But *why* do they use them to make Brawndo?
Secretary of Defense:  [raises hand after a pause] Because Brawndo's got electrolytes.

Sort of a twisted Abbot & Costello's "who's on first..."

And the most quoted lines for me:   Welcome to Costco Walmart, I love you. Welcome to Costco Walmart, I love you. Welcome to Costco Walmart, I love you. Welcome to Costco Walmart, I love you.   Smile
