I really enjoyed both. Iron man was less dark then The Dark Night, but since I've always been a Batman fan; I have to say I enjoyed it also.
To me out of all the superhero's Batman is the most believable. I suppose Iron man could happen but it sure would take a lot of high tech knowledge to make such a suit as that! Another thing I've always enjoyed about Batman is, he does not take justice into his own hands. He leaves them for the law when he can avoid killing them. I can admire that.

I like Batman better than old buckethead, but RD-Jr hit a home-run with that movie.  Christian Bale...sounds like he needs to gargle with Listerine.

Oh No!  The Dark Knight?  For real?  I really didn't like that movie.  Felt like I was in a tunnel or something watching it - squinting to see what was going on & never really connecting to any of the characters.

Can't go wrong with the new & improved Robert Downey, Jr.!

Finally saw Dark Knight...I was disappointed.  I am going to have to go with Iron Man on this one.

Iron Man was funner to watch.

Dark Knight was much more intense and better (from a writing/acting perspective).  Too long and like other posters said, Batman's voice gets annoying rather than menacing.

I also liked the new Incredible Hulk with Ed Norton.

Iron Man.

The Dark Knight takes itself really seriously also, which to me, makes some of its themes look sillier. It's supposed to come across as a more plausible kind of Batman, but Iron Man managed to be really sincere and do a better job of still knowing that it's ultimately comic book fair. And Batman was just not as interesting a character this time around. Joker was interesting but I still couldn't quite buy it.

Yeah, Iron Man was brilliant. It has that hyperactive pacing that's all over Hollywood in recent years, but they packed it with meat and potatoes and it was still just plain fun at the same time.
