Well, I don't automatically believe stats anymore - no matter where they come from.

Also, about the 66% of new hospitalizations coming from people who are sheltering at home - could be a lot of reasons for that, if it's even true.

1. People lie. All over social media are people claiming to be healthcare workers who are hinting about not giving good care to people who are not sheltering at home and then coming to the hospital for treatment of corona. If someone has been out and about, or meeting with friends or whatever and gets corona, then goes to the hospital, I'm assuming a certain percentage of them will claim they had been home the whole time even when they hadn't.
2. Some people's definition of "sheltering at home" is probably different than others.
3. Just because a person decides to shelter at home, that doesn't mean others in the home aren't going in and out and bringing it home.

This reminds me of an article I read a few weeks about by some doctor/scientist/expert guy who claims sheltering at home - if not in total isolation by yourself - is actually more likely to make things worse and spread the virus among everyone in the home.

I'll see if I can find that article.

I think Sweden and Germany prove sheltering in place is dumb.

If the stats were true, my guess is they are getting it from the "essential" stores.  Another indication the lockdown is stupid.

This is quite true.

We have been sheltered for weeks, and I am one of 5 counties in SW PA hopeful
that this afternoon we may be moved by Wolf to his yellow phase of reopening.

Now, with that being said... And note these 5 counties have been very stringent on the stay at home orders... today is announced... in the county next to mine,

Coronavirus Deaths Up Again In Allegheny County, Southwest PA

PITTSBURGH, PA - Coronavirus now has claimed the lives of 119 people in Allegheny County, the county health department announced Friday. That's up from 117 and Thursday and 111 on Wednesday.

And of note:

Beaver county has a very high Covid-19 rate.

Mostly, cause it is rampant in nursing homes.

Conor Lamb, dem, Fed Rep for that area is calling for a Federal investigation in one nursing home due to 60 residents dying from it.
