On the radio yesterday referencing Blair's conversion the statistic was given that Catholics represent 12% of the UK's "worshipers".  However, they didn't specify what defined a "worshiper" (like whether that meant Christian worshiper or if it would include others like Muslims, Sikhs, and Hindus.

But all over Europe Catholics have been faithful attenders of mass compared to the significant dwindling numbers of practicing Protestants.   This doesn't tell us if mass attendance has merely remained on a constant plane or actually increased.  And stating "most popular" implies a significant number of conversions to Catholicism in England.   Speaking specifically on conversions, how does Catholicism compare to Eastern Orthodoxy in England?   There are key elements of Orthodoxy within Anglicanism due to Orthodox (though limited but still primal) influences in Britian before its conversion to Roman Catholicism............. even John Wesley studied Eastern Orthodoxy as a defense against both Roman Catholicism and the corrupt Anglican Church.
