Timothy 2:9 Thou shalt not tuck in your shirt revealing a shapely behind  Frowning

Kids should do as they are told in school, not be using religion as an excuse to be above the rules.

If I ever get hauled in for murder, I'll try and put a scare in the jury as well.

I like the bit about not being able to go to church as she hasnt got a nice dress!! She should find one where you can wear jeans, and where no one minds that you dont have a new dress.I wear jeans usually.
I did thnk it maybe a bit over the top when I heard that her daughter is only 7, and she is extreem, bit I also think that immodesty is a real problem in both the world and the church today. There is a balance however.

Must have been a pretty slow news day in Dallas.

I like the story commenter who pointed out that the Bible verse talks about not braiding the hair but the little girl has braids....  Banging head against wall

If I run up in front of her and tuck my shirt in, would I get arrested for flashing?

taller, better looking and smarter . . .

They turned me loose from the nervous hospital.  Said I was well.  Mmm hmm.

Suffering for your beliefs is called faithfulness, making others suffer for your beliefs is called being a jerk.

His cross, like the ark in the wilderness, is the center around which his people are to encamp; so that they cannot separate into factions, or withdraw from each other, without retiring at the same time from the presence of the cross.

That might be a little goofy, but...

our school system went to a very strict dress code several years ago. The intent was to reduce some of the name-brand competition that goes on, but it backfired. The kids have to wear khakis, plain shirts with at least three buttons, a belt, shoes with socks, and tuck their shirts in.

here's the thing. I'm a big girl. A lot of those kids are big kids. I would be mortified to wear my shirt tucked in, and I would feel immodest if I had to - not because the shirt didn't cover my butt. I felt so sorry for some of those kids. The dress code was absolutely humiliating for a lot of them.

interesting
we will see at judgement day if God see's what she said   as a  legal use of his binding  key.

personaly i would not want to be a unbeliever that she told that to.
Because i know every Christian has the use of Christ's key's.

Obviously we can't see this woman's heart, but it sure seems like she did it all for show.  I guess if there was a rule that my child HAD to wear their clothing in a way that I thought was truly unbiblical and sinful, I would change schools or homeschool.
