Here is the text of the bill directly from the source if anybody is interested.  This sort of bill makes its way through congress every year.  The one we need to be worried about is the hate speech bill, which I am sure will be introduced this year as well.  Parts of the Bible would be illegal under that bill, if it were to become law.  That is not sensationalism, just fact.

None. However, God did say quite a bit about sex that is not between a husband and wife.  How very "hateful" of Him.

Personally, I don't approve of the legal definition of hate speech, but if the "I'm offended" crowd whines long enough, they are bound to get some appeasement just to shut them up.

Did he also delegate to me the authority to run around passing biblical judgement on these people?

Preach the Truth? Yes.  Judge? No.

Many people seem to get those two things confused.

On both sides of the fence.

onelung can I borrow your comment about the sky falling? That is great!

Always through history the thing that should really make you fear is if we became so religious that people get arrested for being gay or adultery or any manner of what others think. The witch trials should scare you. This is when persecution comes. I always hear and read how Christians will be persecuted when in all actuality the history has shown the worse persecution comes from religious who think they walk arm in arm with God. Then those free in Christ get condemned if they don't follow the dictates of certain denominations. History des repeat itself

Christians are being persecuted though in many countries and The Bible does warn us that as the coming of Jesus gets nearer there will be a lot more persecution.

I know Christians are being persecuted but it is usually those who really know God and it is the religious that persecute them for the most part. I see so much persecution here from people claiming to be Christian. If people don't fit into a specific view of what others think, then they are kicked out of church. Especially if they really are hearing from God. It has always been that way. Paul understood this. If Paul were here today most on this board would think he was a liar or deluded. If I were to tell you about someone I know was taken to the 3rd heaven would you believe me? People may think that only NT had those kind of miracles. Satans greatest trap are the phonies out there who are constantly saying God told them stuff. When you are truly seeking God you will be able to determine the difference. And I don't mean by what you think but by the Spirit.
