Two Christians Murdered for Witnessing in Boynton Beach
Why the National Media Blackout?

Contact: Dr. Gary Cass, Christian Anti-Defamation Commission, 866-508-2232, 954-551-9770

VISTA, Calif., Feb. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Anti-Christian hostility is getting increasingly deadly as this week's tragic events demonstrate," said Dr. Gary Cass of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. "The increasing demonization of Christians in our culture makes some feel its open season on Christians."

According to the Boynton Beach police, simply sharing the word of God on the street is what brought two ministers to the man who killed them. Tite Sufra, 24, and Stephen Ocean, 23, were shot and killed Saturday night after meeting Jeriah Woody, 18. They witnessed to Woody for fifteen minutes when he got a phone call and told the preachers he 'had to go.' As they walked away, Woody suddenly started walking back toward them. Sufra walked up to greet him and was killed with a shot gun blast at point blank range. When Ocean ran, he was shot in the back. After he fell, Woody shot him in the head execution style. Woody was arrested Wednesday and is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

"As of today, there are no national news organizations reporting this vicious murder of two innocent Christian men. Why?" Cass said, "I'll ask this: If two Muslims, or two feminists or two homosexuals were murdered, wouldn't the media be all over it? These were two fine young black Christian men shot by another black man for their Christian faith, yet the media does not seem to care."

Cass continued: "It is an ominous sign of our times that Christians are being shot on the streets and in our churches. Last year Jim Pullion was killed while holding pro-life signs in front of his granddaughter's Owasso Michigan high school. Rev. Fred Winters was murdered while preaching in his pulpit in Maryville, Illinois. Increasingly we see Christian ministers threatened and churches terrorized and vandalized for their stand on marriage. Now when Christians gather for worship they must have armed security. Anti-Christian defamation and bigotry has helped to create this violent climate and it must stop."

About the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission - The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC) is a national, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) Education Corporation whose purpose it is to champion Christian religious liberty, domestically and internationally, by standing against anti-Christian defamation, bigotry, and discrimination.

Hi, James Rondon.

Link, link, where's the link? I wanted to post this at another site I go to, but it's against the rules to post ANY of the content. The rule is that we can put the title of the article in the subject line, but after that, we have to post the link - and that's it. So I can't share this without a link.  ::cryingtears::

When I went to the CADC site, it didn't have the same content as what's posted here. So if you could provide a link to where you got THIS content/article, I would greatly appreciate it.

God bless, James.

Yes, it is interesting that the media reports only certain stories and only one side of the stories they do report.   This is the first I heard of these murders and it certainly is a horrible tragedy.

I'm not saying they weren't, but how do we know they were killed for sharing their faith? Are there any other reasons they could have been killed? Gang initiation, the guy is just crazy, the color of their skin, I mean there are many reasons and nothing in that story says why they were killed.

I agree with you Rob. I don't read in the article that it is a case of Christian persecution (in the sense that we understand it) as is insinuated.

I will be even more radical and claim that Satan killed them so that they could not share their faith with anyone else.
It was an attack of demonic retaliation.

It has a precedence  Act 19:15 - 16 And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?"   Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Hi, Mrs Mac.

Ultimately, all evil is brought on by satan. So while it may be "more radical" to say so, it is true. And I'm not saying that "the devil made him do it". What I'm saying is that man (Woody) was under some spiritual influence (or at the very least, suggestion) to do what he did. The choice was his to make, but the idea probably came from something else.

God bless, Mrs Mac.

PS about that scripture, though: they weren't believers (Christians) that's why the spirit said it didn't know them and then it attacked them. I'm just sayin'.  ::wink::

if this is true what a awesome privledge it is to die sharing ones faith about Jesus .
They certainly must have been very very  special christian young people .
how many of us including my self ask to die easly  in our sleep .
if this is true , are they not the much better  example what we should really ask God  for .

How many of us would even honestly   ask  The good Lord,

Let me die sharing my faith in Jesus with some one .

Thanks for your reply Gwen. I agree with you. I was, however trying to make the point that this was not a case of Christian persecution as we understand it like what's happening in China and around the world. I know that those persecutions also are carried out by  demonic governments.

I see this as an isolated case  and I believe Satan did it directly.

Did it say directly that the murderer killed them simply for having different religion?
I mean, it is Florida! That is in the SOUTH! Or "Jesus land", as others call it. I see no point in killing someone from the MAJORITY religion in the area simply for religious reasons.

God blesses their souls.
I want to forgive and love as much as I can because my master is love, no matter what that cruel low world does to me; actually I wish I die for his holy name, here in Egypt, there in USA, I don't care I just wish it; Maybe I want to go to my home like those two innocent pure gentlemen.
