Steve Irwin - the famed Crocodile Hunter - passed away today after being stung through the heart by a stingray barb while diving off North Queensland.  He was 44 and leaves behind his wife, Terri, and children Bindi, 8, and Bob, 2.

I merge these two into one thread, since they are the same.

I great loss.  I've prayed for his family in their loss.

What a horrible tragedy.

I also pray for this family.

For those two young children to grow up without their Dad who adored them tremendously is so sad.

I pray that they lean upon the Lord in all three of their lives to come.

It's a shame, especially since he seemed to enjoy living more than most folks.

I guess he finally he met his match.  I just pray he knew the Messiah who had already taken the sting out of death when He was pierced on the cross before the barb of this stingray pierced his heart.

At least he sure enjoyed the "thrill" more than most people.

His death is a great reminder: Life is like a vapor.
