"SYDNEY (AFP) – People who live on vegetarian diets have slightly weaker bones than their meat-eating counterparts, Australian researchers said Thursday.

A joint Australian-Vietnamese study of links between the bones and diet of more than 2,700 people found that vegetarians had bones five percent less dense than meat-eaters, said lead researcher Tuan Nguyen."

Dear Gary, is it possible that a vegetarian doesn't have to be as strong in the bone to catch a carrot as they would have to be in catching a Bull Moose? Then on the other hand if they had big bones, Well, blow me down, they might have to eat their spinach.

Those that eat meat are sinning, as God has revealed to His prophetess, Ellen G. White.

You mean that one lady who had multiple failed prophecies and yet still is revered as a prophetess? Was she an avid reader of alice bailey by chance?

Is Ellen G. White's name somewhere in scripture along with Joseph Smith? With doctrines such as that; her without meat, and him without caffeine, they should be listed together in some book.

You can find any number of links that attribute the development of the human brain evolutionarily to their general omnimvorus characteristics.  So then eating meat contributed to the brain sized in human beings.  I have often thouht that vegetarians were missing something.  Smile

The only meat I can afford is chicken. I buy a 10 pound bag for less than $6. Unfortunately, a lot of that is bone and skin--both of which I throw away. That's still a lot cheaper than buying boneless, skinless chicken, or any other meat for that matter. I dislike most vegetables.

True Remnant Church -   I don't see you mocking Isaiah or Elijah.  Ellen White was God's messenger.  She may have been hit in the head with a rock, but the visions were real, and from God.

larry2 - Dear True Remnant Church, I should not make fun of something you believe to be true, but I have no such belief in any that come in this day professing that God told me to tell you. First of all, it does not meet the qualification of all previous scripture; many in scripture ate meat.

Scripture is our guide into all truth, and in Colossians 1:25  Whereof I (Paul) am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Here Paul says he was given the fulfilled word of God, Joseph Smith in the Book of Mormon says he fulfilled the word of God, The Catholic Church says whatever they say on earth shall be said in heaven, and here comes Ellen White and adds to all that. Are we going to believe all these modern day prophets, or the word of God?

Then last of all I bring forth Galatians 1:8: "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

We were created vegetarians.  Assuming that Genesis accurately provides some background.  But then He gave us meat to eat.  Dietary choices are dietary choices.  Theological doctrines tied to salvation are not simply dietary choices.

Romans 14:2 "He who is weak eats vegetables only."

Is it also true then that he who eats vegetables only is weak?

One line kind of stands out in that report: "But the magnitude of the association is clinically insignificant," he added.

If that's the case then why did they make a big deal about it and a press release? Just needing to print stuff I guess?
