Title: World War III Has Started Post by: Mrs Mac on May 28, 2009, 03:49:43 AM Quote Two days ago, in North Korea, World War III officially got underway – the war that would pit “crazy” states such as North Korea and Iran, for example, against states we shall characterize as “moderate,” including Egypt, Gulf states, and Saudi Arabia, which at this time leads the Arab initiative for peace with Israel. Ever since Sunday, the world has gone crazy, and this crazy world is monitoring with horror the struggle between the “moderate” and “crazy” states. The problem is that some of those crazy states – Iran, Pakistan, and North Korea – already have, or will have, a nuclear button to push, while the moderates, headed by the United States, are not eager to rush into battle. Why? Because America is already entangled in wars, and there was someone who recently won the presidential elections there, among other reasons because he pledged to remove US troops from the Iraqi and Afghani quagmire. That same president promised that we shall live in a world free of nuclear weapons. Remember that? The opinions of other people can be quite valuable as we all aren't "THERE" yet. Some of us are still learning and we sift the good from the bad as we go along. In this case I valued the guys opinion because it made me wonder ( if wondering is allowed (http://www.praize.com/members/CommunityAlbum/Thumbs/9990320750052.gif)) if WWIII started at 911, that bombing being the declaration. Of course we could sit around in denial and wait for a formal declaration of war from some pipsqueak country while looking down the throat of a nuclear missile launcher. If we are waiting for another war to act in the same pattern as WWII, we will miss it. The world doesn't act that way anymore. With the sophisticated missile defense systems we have, a missile is akin to bringing a knife to a gun fight: there are better military ordinance delivery methods available in the form of suicide bombers. We can't seemingly handle Taliban on horseback hiding in caves (Of course a few of them now have motorcycles), so instead of worrying about something we're going to do nothing about except talk and hope China will put a stop to Korea, we might realize we're already in a war that is escalating, and even there we're not willing to commit to winning: let's attempt civilizing and turning them into a democratic state. You don't turn snakes into sheep by freeing them. We also have major opponents such as China controlling our finances, and backing Korea while Russia supplies and backs Iran against us; shall we holler as William Prescott did at the Battle of Bunker Hill: "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes."
