Probably at the same time.  Tomorrow.  Or maybe they'll build a time machine and nuke us before we find out they have nukes.

I have come to be aware that you don't appreciate people sharing what they think or in this case an opinion. The opinions of other people can be quite valuable as we all aren't "THERE" yet. Some of us are still learning and we sift the good from the bad as we go along.

In this case I valued the guys opinion because it made me wonder ( if wondering is  allowed ) if WWIII started at 911, that bombing being the declaration. Of course we could sit around in denial and wait for a formal declaration of war from some pipsqueak country while looking down the throat of a nuclear missile launcher.

If we are waiting for another war to act in the same pattern as WWII, we will miss it. The world doesn't act that way anymore.

Dear,r Mrs. Mac  I regret to inform you that in order for world war three to begin world war two has to have ended.  At various times men like General Patton,and/or General MacArthur could have brought it all to an end but the were prevented from doing so by POLITICIANS.

Maybe they'll nuke us based on misunderstood events in an alternate timeline.

Mrs Mac, your cartoon of Korea preparing a missile to nuke someone has faked you and the world out. With the sophisticated missile defense systems we have, a missile is akin to bringing a knife to a gun fight: there are better military ordinance delivery methods available in the form of suicide bombers.

We can't seemingly handle Taliban on horseback hiding in caves (Of course a few of them now have motorcycles), so instead of worrying about something we're going to do nothing about except talk and hope China will put a stop to Korea, we might realize we're already in a war that is escalating, and even there we're not willing to commit to winning: let's attempt civilizing and turning them into a democratic state. You don't turn snakes into sheep by freeing them.

We also have major opponents such as China controlling our finances, and backing Korea while Russia supplies and backs Iran against us; shall we holler as William Prescott did at the Battle of Bunker Hill: "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes." How about 1 Samuel 15:3?  "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass."
