Dear Mrs Mac, you really do need to enter this new century. I truly thought everyone here was just having fun with your cartoon, though I admit I was doing it at your expense. I apologize for a having a bad attempt at levity on such a serious subject.

Sorry for the misunderstanding! It is possible it could be cultural nothing to do with me being in another century...a statement that I don't understand.  Pondering

That was a glazed doughnut? I didn't know what it was, we don't have glazed doughnuts in New Zealand.
We have cream buns though and Pavlova .
