In regards to last minute breath thing, Yes Jesus does give this opportunity to turn to him the moment before dying but this is seldom. MeMyself, You really gotta seek Jesus and ask for guidance. Get on knees before him and cry out to him... Give up your life for him and be ready to serve him till death. This is what I am doing.... I want to get raptured. Hope you do the same. I care for you

How on *earth* can you *possibly* know if that is true?! You *can't*! Neither can I, of course, but I *do* have the Word of God that tells us it is God's will that none should perish...so to me, it makes sense that it would NOT be seldom.

What makes you think that I do not do that every day?  Is it that I disagree with your posts?

If it be God's will that any such thing take place in my lifetime, I have full confidence that I *will* not be left behind...not because of what *I* do (thank *goodness!*), but because of what Christ did for me.  The only part I played in my salvation was the accepting of it, confessing Him as Lord and believing with all my heart that God raised Him from the dead. God will rapture and accept me due to that, my works and my walk; whether it brought Him glory will be judged, but I will still be saved. (1 Corinthians 3:14-15 14If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.)

But if it has not, and you are continuing to live a life after your own desires, and you are continuing to be entertained by this world’s wickedness on the TV screens, and the movies, and the sport, and all the things that this generation strives after, then how can you know Jesus? How can he abide in you? Because clearly, you are not a new creation.

It always cracks me up about these men who rant and rail about Christians "sinning" by being entertained by the world's wickedness, on TV, and movies and sports and all the things that this generation strives after...but forgets to include the computer they are using.  ::frown::

If the world strives after *anything*, its technology, so you know...how can you be a new creation and preach over the internet, or post or even OWN or borrow a computer? Clearly these men are NOT new creatures in Christ! ::sarcasmalert:

VERY good point,in fact what you can find on a computer is far far worse than what is on TV. I am not sure why sport is a problem anyway, I think that sport is a good and beneficial thing, both to do and to watch, especially with the levels of  obesity today.  ::shrug:: Also the Christian sports men and women that we have are such a great witness to others, especially the young. I guess you can see evil in just about anything if you are that way inclined.  ::frown::

Another good word of the day by Mr Boshoff.

Never in history has there been as many printed Bibles in the world. Never before in history have as many people been literate. The Bible is available everywhere, on the internet. There are many Bible EXPERTS  in this world but there are very few people who know Jesus Christ.  The world has no knowledge of God because they don't know Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ Himself is the WAY. If you don't KNOW Jesus and you don't FOLLOW Him, you are LOST. You might be a Bible Expert but Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me.” The world does not know right from wrong, they don't even know to blush, they have no shame. Christians are living in sin and wickedness and they don't even blush. They don't have Jesus Christ and they don't have the Holy Spirit. Many of them quote the Bible and they will tell you they have salvation but they are LOST in their SIN and they will PERISH because they don't KNOW Jesus Christ.  If we OBEY Jesus Christ, DO as He commanded as is also recorded in the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, if we REPENT and turn away from our evil ways and accept Jesus Christ, be baptized in water  and seek HIM, seek the Holy Spirit INFILLING, then we will find Him. Without the Holy Spirit guiding you, you are LOST. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. If you don't have the Holy Spirit and if you do not follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit you are LOST with your Bible. Jesus Christ is the LIVING GOD and He guides each and every disciple bu His Spirit. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ you do not belong to Him and you will PERISH.  There are many Bible Experts in this world but very little knowledge of God and that is why they SIN and they will perish in their sin if they do not REPENT and seek Jesus Christ. If you do not get to know Jesus Christ and follow and obey Him you will PERISH in your sins WITH your Bible. Seek Jesus NOW while you can before it is TOO LATE, FOLLOW and OBEY Him or you will certainly perish. May Jesus bless you.

I say ::amen:: to this message, regardless of who the messenger is.

Here is today's sermon by Mr Boshoff.

The only way to have SALVATION, eternal life, is to OBEY the gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ? REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED and then He will FILL YOU  with the Holy Spirit and His Holy Spirit will GUIDE  and TEACH you. You will come into FELLOWSHIP with Jesus Christ, you will KNOW Him for REAL and IF you follow Him until the very end you will have eternal life. The gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT about EDUCATION, not about Bible knowledge and church, and religion. It is about OBEDIENCE to Jesus Christ. You have to OBEY  the gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way that you get to KNOW Jesus Christ is if you REPENT. If you go on your knees and you cry out to Jesus  and you REPENT of your sins, you PLEAD His  FORGIVENESS with REMORSE AND WITH THE INTENTION of NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT SIN EVER AGAIN or else He will not forgive you, or else He will NOT HEAR YOU. He will not LISTEN to you if you are not serious, if you do not intend turning away from your previous lifestyle, from sin and from seeking your own ways and if you are not serious about following Him and living to please Him until the end of your life He will not HEAR you, He will not answer your prayer.  And then you have to be baptized in water for the washing off of your sin and He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. He will give His Spirit in you to GUIDE and TEACH you. You do not need EDUCATION.  He will tell you everything that you need to know because He will be IN you and WITH you and He will guide you.  But most people do not know Jesus Christ. Most believers never repented. They never OBEYED Him and that is why they do not KNOW Him. Salvation is about OBEDIENCE to the gospel of Jesus Christ. REPENT and BE BAPTIZED in water and He will FILL you with the Holy Spirit. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ you do not belong to Him and you cannot follow Him. If you have not received the Holy Spirit you cannot follow Him. You have to first OBEY the gospel of Jesus Christ. REPENT and BE BAPTIZED, BE SERIOUS  about following Jesus.  If you are still in sin you are LOST. If you are still practicing sin then you are a son of the devil. If you are not LED by the Spirit of God you are not a child of God, you are a son of satan. There is only one way to have SALVATION and that is to FOLLOW Jesus Christ, you have to OBEY Him, deny yourself, pick up your cross every day and follow Him but you cannot follow Him if you do not HEAR His VOICE. If you have not received the Holy Spirit.  FIRST obey the gospel of Jesus Christ, REPENT and BE BAPTIZED and He will FILL you with His Holy Spirit and He will guide you by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ will guide you and will teach you all things but you do not have the Holy Spirit you do not belong to Jesus Christ and you are LOST.  Seek Jesus NOW, OBEY the gospel of Jesus Christ, REPENT and BE BAPTIZED and be filled with the Holy Spirit and then only can you follow Jesus Christ. Follow Him until the very, very end or you will perish. May Jesus bless you.

IT sounds to me as if you are living in fear of not being raptured, and striving by your own efforts to make sure you are. How about you trust Jesus, and in what HE has done for you instead, its the only way you will get there.  ::eek::

Here is a good word of the day by Andy (WarningThePeople) ^_^)

Contrary to the common Christian teaching, faith and belief alone in Jesus WILL NOT SAVE YOU.  Christians will quote all kinds of verses to prove to you that if you JUST BELIEVE you will be saved.  They will quote Paul and Silas in Acts chapter 16 when they said to the jailer, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved…”  Or they quote John 3:16 that you must believe in Jesus and you will be saved… But see they TWIST the words of the Scripture and to their OWN demise, because TRUE belief in Jesus is TOTAL obedience and surrender, it is NOT just believing things ABOUT Jesus, but is a TOTAL life CHANGE.  These Christians of today ARE IN SIN and they refuse to really repent.  IF they repented they would be saved, but they are NOT repenting of their sins.  They say; “Well we have repented…”  THEY HAVE NOT REPENTED because THEY ARE STILL SINNING.  Are YOU like the Christians that are still sinning, believing that you are saved because you think you believe in Jesus?  Or have you TRULY repented?  Is your faith in JESUS and are you PROVING it by your action?  Because without actions, without WORKS, you don’t REALLY have ANY faith at all.  DO you REALLY love Jesus with your ACTIONS?  Or are you like the FAKE Christians who DON’T REALLY love Jesus?  May the grace of Jesus be with you.

Here is a good teaching session by Jan Boshoff. This will be very helpful for many to get prepared for the destruction to come shortly. Get yourself some coffee and read this.... It's Jesus' will. He wants us to read it.

There is only one way to have salvation and that is the way of DISCIPLESHIP, following Jesus Christ. There is only one way that we can follow Jesus Christ and that is to be LED by the Holy Spirit. Most believers do not have the Holy Spirit, they do not know what discipleship is all about. it will COST you to follow Jesus Christ. The COST is very high and Jesus said that if we WISH to follow Him we must DENY OURSELVES, PICK UP OUR cross and FOLLOW Him. Most believers do not know what that means and I want to explain that today.  We read in Luke chapter 9 "23And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. 25“For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself? 26“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."  We have to DENY OURSELVES. What does it mean to DENY YOURSELF?  It means to REPENT, REPENT, TURN AWAY, DISREGARD and REFRAIN from satisfying our own DESIRES, NEEDS, PLEASURES, ASPIRATIONS and PLANS. You ABANDON your own desires, that which you LIKE. You give it up and then you have to go after Jesus Christ. Jesus said that you  have to PICK UP YOUR CROSS. what is that CROSS?  The cross is the COMMANDMENTS  of Jesus Christ, His WORDS, that which He spoke. That was also recorded in the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Those are the words of eternal life and we have to OBEY them if we want to have eternal life. Before we can follow Jesus Christ we have to obey those words. That is the CROSS, because as soon as you start obeying the words of Jesus, if you REPENT, turn away from sin, turn away from the things of the world and live according to the words of Jesus then you will be REJECTED. You will be PERSECUTED, you will be SLANDERED, you will be EX-COMMUNICATED. The world will REJECT you, family will reject you, you might lose your job, you might lose your spouse. Your children might reject you, you will end up ALONE. And if you keep on obeying Jesus, doing as He commanded,  you will end up alone, carrying your cross.  Obeying the words of Jesus Christ and doing as he commanded , that is the cross that we will bear.  If we disregard His words and disobey Him then we are not suitable for His kingdom, we cannot follow Him.  Many refuse to be baptized in water because if they are baptized in water people will reject them. They rather treasure the acceptance of people than the acceptance of God and therefor they cannot follow Jesus. They are not willing to pick up their cross every day and follow Jesus Christ in spite of rejection, in spite of difficulty, in spite of persecution. They don't want the cross. They are not willing to give up the things of the world , they are not willing to bear the cross. If we make up our mind to follow Jesus Christ and we deny ourselves, we OBEY His words, REPENT and are baptized in water then only can we follow Him BUT we can only follow Jesus Christ if we are LED by the Holy Spirit. If we do not have the Holy Spirit we cannot follow Jesus Christ. You cannot follow Jesus from reading the Bible. You cannot follow Him form being religious, going to church, being in fellowship with other Christians. You have to be in fellowship with Jesus Christ. You need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and then follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit every day. You have to stay with Jesus , stay tuned in, listen to the Holy Spirit and He will teach and guide you. He will send you, He will use you. Jesus has called each and every one of us for a purpose in His kingdom and the only way that we can fulfill that purpose is if we are led by the Holy Spirit every day.  There is no TIME OUT. You cannot stop following Jesus Christ for a day or two and then go back. You have to follow Him every day until the very end.  That is the road of discipleship.  The apostle Paul wrote in Romans chapter 8:14 "Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God," the children of God. If we are not led by the Spirit of God then we are not the children of God, we are not the sons of God.  We can only follow Jesus Christ if we have His Spirit and if we LISTEN, FOLLOW and OBEY Him. We have to make SPACE for His Spirit. That is why we have to DENY ourselves, we have to deny ourselves our own plans, deny ourselves watching TV, playing sports, doing the things that the world do and OPEN our hearts for Jesus, invite Him in, WAIT on Him, SEEK Him, PRAY and ask Him to FILL us with His Spirit so that we can be in FELLOWSHIP, in RELATIONSHIP with Him and that we can follow Him, and DO His will.  Many people say they have been asking for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and they are not receiving it. It is because they are not seeking. It is because they are not SERIOUS. We have to EARNESTLY SEEK the infilling with the Holy Spirit even if it means that you have  got to FAST and PRAY and WAIT on the Lord to FILL you.  Many believers do not know what the purpose is of fasting.  After our Lord Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, He was led into the desert by the Holy Spirit, where He fasted for forty days, He was without food and after that the devil came and tempted Him but He overcame satan. The purpose of FASTING, going without food for some time, to pray is do deprive yourself of sensual and physical pleasures and to focus on Jesus. As the physical is weakened the spiritual inner man that is normally suppressed and smothered is allowed to surface and you become spiritually awake, your spirit is released and becomes open to the Holy Spirit. While you are fasting you have to get your focus on Jesus Christ and PRAY because as your body is weakened and your spirit becomes awakened you will be attacked by evil spirits also, by demons, like Jesus was attacked by the devil. You have to keep your mind and your spirit focused on Jesus Christ and OPEN yourself to Him. You have to fight off the evil spirits.  The first three days you will become hungry and you will want to eat. After three days the hunger pains will leave you and you will be able to stay without food much easier, but keep on using water. It is possible to fast on water for forty days as Jesus Christ did. And after that  the devil tempted Him but He overcame satan. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and then His ministry started.  If we follow Jesus Christ we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and the POWER of God. We need to to be RECEPTIVE to the Holy Spirit. We need to KNOW His VOICE and FOLLOW Him. If we have not received the Holy Spirit and we have not learned to HEAR His VOICE, to LISTEN, to OBEY, to FOLLOW then we cannot follow Jesus Christ.  We need to be FILLED with the HOLY SPIRIT. We have to overcome our own flesh, we have to overcome the attacks of the devil.  That is why most Christians cannot stop sinning. They have never FOUGHT the devil and overcome. They are still battling with sin and they are not led by the Holy Spirit because they do not have the Spirit of Christ IN them. We have to be FILLED with the Holy Spirit, we have to be taught by the Holy Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit to do the works of God, to fulfill the task for which Jesus Christ has called us and if we do not have the Holy Spirit and do not submit ourselves to Him daily, pick up our cross and follow Jesus Christ, PRAY, LISTEN, OBEY and DO what He commands us to do then we are NOT suitable for the kingdom of heaven, we are not useful, we cannot bear fruit for the kingdom of God if we are not LED by the Spirit of God. We cannot go out on our own and work for God. We can only work for the kingdom of God if we are led by the Spirit of God, if we FOLLOW and OBEY Jesus Christ every day.  Very few Christians follow Jesus Christ. Very few are disciples because most Christians have never received the Holy Spirit and even those who did receive the Holy Spirit do not follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is through our relationship with Jesus Christ, being LED by the Holy Spirit every day, that we gain WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING, that He TEACHES us and GUIDES us and we become part of His kingdom because we SERVE Him.   Jesus Christ requires DISCIPLESHIP. There is no other way to follow Him but to be a DISCIPLE who is LED by the Holy Spirit.  Have you become a DISCIPLE of Jesus Christ? May Jesus bless you.

I disagree with some of the tone of this post.  Yes, on the whole it is necessary to be that disciple of Christ as described in this post.  But the tone is one that suggests that if we fail, we don't have the Holy Spirit.  That is not true.  The Holy Spirit is who enables us to succeed, but we are still weak vessels prone to fail at times.  Suggesting otherwise, as this message implies, sets up an impossibly high standard that will lead to discouragement ultimately for those people who take it for face value.

Jesus makes up for our lack.  The message should include that, even should we fail, we still can repent and continue to strive.

Also I would note that the whole purpose of doing the above should be based on our love for the Lord, and not simply being obedient to the Lord.  "If you love me, keep my commands".  Love comes first, then obedience.

Catholica, in response to your disagreement about Mr Boshoff's claim, you misunderstood him. What he was saying is that most Professing Christians do not seek and obey Jesus therefore they are not guided by the Holy Spirit. If they are led by the Holy Spirit they would be doing Jesus' will. If you watch more of his videos you will get to know more about him and understand. I think you seem to be in right track with the Lord. Cheez pats on Catholica's back. ^_^)

Cheez hugs MeMyself ^_^)

And then you have to be baptized in water for the washing of of your sin and He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

So are you perfect? If not you will not get to be with Him unless you are looking to Him for complete forgiveness and salvation.
No I am not perfect, but have gotten tremendously better than before I was born again. Jesus says we have to be born again like a child or we will not be able to enter heaven. I am trying to walk with Jesus. ^_^)
yes we know that, we are born again as His children. Its not what YOU do that will save you, its what HE has already done for us.

I care for you.

Cheez

I think its far more common that you think, there is no way you can possible declare that  its seldom.
It wasn't my idea or opinion. This message was from Jesus himself. I'm just passing along information and trying to do good deed by spreading the words of Gospel.

Where does Jesus say that not many will be saved in their last days? IF you are keen to spread the word, then may I suggest you do that to those who dont yet know Him?

Here is today's word from Mr Boshoff ^_^)

Many Christian believers put their hope for salvation in the WORKS that they do, for the CHURCH and as they call it, for the “Kingdom of God.” Many give vast sums of money to the church and they support the CHURCH, they support EVANGELISM, they support PREACHERS. Many are preachers themselves that are building vast MINISTRIES but they are busy with DEAD WORKS because they are not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are not IN CHRIST, they are not living in holiness and righteousness in obedience to Jesus Christ. We can only bear FRUIT and do GOOD WORKS if we are IN CHRIST and we are LED BY the Holy Spirit. We read the words of Jesus in John  15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. 2“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it ABIDES IN THE VINE, so neither can you UNLESS YOU ABIDE IN ME. 5“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. 6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.” Many people do marvelous works FOR GOD but they are not IN CHRIST, they are not being LED by the Holy Spirit. That which is of the flesh is flesh as Jesus also said and I read from John 3:6  "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”  If our inspiration and our GUIDANCE does not come from the Holy Spirit, if we are not led by the Holy Spirit then we are performing DEAD WORKS that are not pleasing to God, they are worthless to the kingdom of God.   We read the words of Paul in Romans 8:13,14 “for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” Many preachers, many churches, many people have great initiatives but they are of the flesh, they are of their OWN MIND, they are not LED by the Spirit of God.  They build GREAT CHURCHES and they have GREAT MINISTRIES but they are not part of the kingdom of God because they do not have the Holy Spirit and they are not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are performing DEAD WORKS. All our works are tested by the FIRE OF GOD. If our works are unfruitful DEAD WORKS then we will get CUT OFF and BURNED as Jesus said. Every branch in Him that does not bear fruit Many people put their hope in the words of Paul as written in 1 Corinthians 3:14 “If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” That is not what Jesus said, that is what Paul said. Jesus said that if we do not bear GOOD FRUIT we will get CUT OFF and BURNED. Many believers have received Gifts of the Holy Spirit and they think that the gifts that they received from God are a GUARANTEE OF SALVATION. It is NOT. God never takes back His gifts. There are many people who speak in tongues and they live in sin. There are many who perform miracles in the Name of Jesus, they preach and they have great ministries but they are living in unrighteousness and in wickedness. They are building their own empires and they are committing DEAD WORKS because they are not following Jesus Christ. They are using the gifts of Christ to benefit and enrich themselves and that is why many big preachers will be terribly disappointed when they stand before Jesus Christ.  I read from  Matthew 7:22. Jesus said:21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'  They were GREAT PREACHERS, they were regarded as men and women of God and Jesus says to them:"Go away I never knew you." Why is that? They were using God's gifts and the gospel of Jesus Christ to enrich themselves, they were performing DEAD WORKS. They were not leading souls to Christ, they were performing DEAD WORKS that lead to DEATH.  If we are not LED by the Holy Spirit. if we do not STAY WITH Jesus Christ and live closely to Him in RIGHTEOUSNESS, Holiness and in OBEDIENCE and if we do not do the works that He GUIDES us into, that He TELLS us to do we cannot serve the kingdom of God and we will perish, WE will BURN together with our DEAD WORKS.  Are we being led by the Holy Spirit, doing the WILL of GOD or are we performing DEAD WORKS because the works that we do are of our own flesh, of our own initiative, MY IDEA, MY PLAN that I am doing for God? If we do not SUBMIT ourselves to Jesus Christ and follow Him as DISCIPLES to do what He guides and commands us to do then we are performing DEAD WORKS that will PERISH and we ourselves will also perish. We have to FOLLOW Jesus Christ, STEP BY STEP  and DO the WORKS that He has prepared for us to do.  May Jesus bless you.

Here is another one from Andy (WarningThePeople)

Some people have asked why there are not miracles done today like the miracles that were done in the times of Jesus in the times of the Bible, and in the times of the prophets.  They suppose that the miracles ceased and that all we are left with today is “faith” and the Bible.  I want to tell you though that GOD has NOT changed.  What has changed is PEOPLE’S HEARTS.  And the reason MOST do NOT see miracles from GOD is they are NOT seeking GOD.  Jesus could do no miracles in Nazareth when He would preach there BECAUSE OF PEOPLE’S UNBELIEF.  You can read about this in Mark 6:1- 6  When people refuse to believe in the true GOD, they just see the things that THEY want to see in the flesh, but those who call on the name of JESUS and make HIM their GOD, THEY will see the wonders of God, they will see His miracles and His POWER.  I have seen the wonders and the power of GOD at work TODAY and NOTHING has changed from the times of Bible times to today, in regards to THE LIVING GOD.  HE IS ALIVE TODAY, He was alive then and He rules and reigns FOREVER, HE IS NOT CHANGED, people are who have changed, their hearts are turning against GOD.  How about yours?  May the grace of Jesus be with you.

*She* said so, so therefore it is true? Who is Lady Clare anyway?

Bible book isn't evil but leads many misled...

No, it does not.  2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

It does NOT lead many to be mislead. It IS *the* Word of God!

especially those that are not led by the Holy Spirit

According to whom?

Also I said this before but the bible only contains less than 3% of the gospel. The remaining of 97% can be had by direct coaching from Jesus. Even the bible book said it.

Show me where, please.  The part that it tells us that it contains less than 3% of the gospel.

Wouldn't direct coaching from Jesus make this Jan and Lady Clare obsolete?  The Holy Spirit is for each of us individually and is capable of "directly" coaching each one of us.

I am serious guys we gotta seek Jesus and listen to his voice and follow him. That is the only way to heaven (even better, Rapture).

Its best to listen to His Voice from His Word..not the voice of man claiming "Thus saith the Lord, listen to *me*, fear the written Word, it leads many astray." HUGE red flag, Cheez. I wish you saw it!

Pretty lady, Clare is one of the sheep I told you already. Jesus says his sheep listen to his voice and follow him. This is scriptural too. If you truly seek Jesus he will lead you to right people (brides/disciples/prophets). Jesus does that to people who can't directly hear from him. Jesus' teaching is amazing and incredibly powerful. Just relying on bible book doesn't save people, they have to be led by the Holy Spirit and continue receive teaching from Jesus and follow his instruction. This is like a new job. The assignment is given everyday every moment.

As for bible book being 3% gospel it's in bible somewhere... i don't remember ::baby::  what's important is that it is the truth.

You dont know where it is because it isnt in there. Its not true.

Nothing God says or does will contradict the Bible, and as for 'Lady clare', I think we are ok without her teaching thanks, who ever she is.  ::shrug:: Never rely on another person, stick to the Bible.

I am a sheep of Jesus as well, so if I said that Jesus told me something for you, you would take that as if gospel?

For it to be truth, it has to be backed up by the written Word.  I suggest you find it before you tell others its truth.

You have your own personal ideology here, the Bible is the inspired word of God and the primary source for seeking His voice. Putting the Bible aside in hopes of gaining further relationship with God has led more people astray than has elevated them, which is evident in the off track sects and cults we have today.

Seek the Lord through His word and listen for His voice, rinse and repeat.

Why would we even begin to consider the pages of Qur'an holy to followers of Christ? To me they are simply pages filled with false religion, steeped in hate, and pointing to a false god; nothing holy there.

I guess you than disagree with Jesus,

Joh_6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Joh 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Now if the words He speaks are life yet the scriptures cant bring you life can only mean that not all scripture is from Him.

Than again,

Joh 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Never once does Jesus nor the disciples say the " bible" is the word of God or scripture, in fact if you read the bible all the way through it Jesus always called people to Himself.

When Jesus says His voice, He means His voice.

The Holy spirit was given to teach man the truth not the bible. If you have Christ than you have a greater thing than any book could ever give you. Now is God your God or the bible, that is the question.,

Worst thing is if I was declare to you that the whole bible was the word of God i would have to lie before God.

God is not the author of confusion, God is inerrant, and God does not lie.

So you believe you are a prophet? Not challenging you there, but even as such we are told to test the spirits, IOW the things you are hearing from God MUST line up with the scriptures, if they do not they are not of God but of the flesh but if you elevate the small still voice in your head above the scriptures you will most certainly miss the mark.

How can any man claim to know God if that man disregards the written word of God, the God breathed written word.  ::shrug::

"Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God"  Matt 4:4

Does anyone believe that Jesus and the disciples did not study the scriptures continuously? These were common men that were not well versed in the scriptures but from writings in the NT we see that they are most knowledgeable of the scriptures after their time with Christ and refer to the scriptures often.

Sounds more like agreement with Jesus.

One things that really burns me is when you claim your opinion is Jesus' opinion and that if we disagree with you we disagree with Jesus.  Read the verse YOU QUOTED.  Jesus is talking about he importance of Scriptures.

Paul told Timothy all we need are scriptures:

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16

Peter said Paul's letters were Scripture:

"And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures." 2 Peter 3:15-16

Scriptures doesn't call itself the written word of God.

Scriptures are a witness and testimony to God.

Scriptures unless it is enlightened by the Spirit of God brings forth death, all you have
to do is look around you at the different churches, all divided over scriptures, and a house
divided against itself cannot stand.

You say we have to test the spirits and they must line up with scriptures, which I agree, but to
give you an example..

1 John 3,   9
No one born of God commits sin; for God's nature abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is
born of God

Now when mentioning a scripture like that, "christians" get defensive and say that no one can be perfect,
because we all sin,    but yet it is what Jesus, Peter, Paul and John speak of.

So when testing the spirits whether they are of God according to scripture, and "christians" speak against
what the inspired writers of scriptures had to say about it, can I assume then that these "      ""are not born again,
and I didn't say, did not believe, there is a difference?

What I believe some are alluding to, is that there are a lot of people , those on the broad road, that have a
relationship with the scriptures but do not have Christ living in them,  they have elevated scriptures to be
God.

The bible itself is a dead letter word unless the Spirit brings forth the life that is hidden in its writings.

Of course, and I do not propose that the Bible is the sole source of our relationship with Christ, but it is where the knowledge of Christ is birthed from, without the Bible we would be merely relaying folklore, the Bible keeps us grounded in the word of God.

People can be deceived in many different ways, to make claims that the Bible itself is an idol or "another god" is just one of them.

???  That isnt true , but Jan doesnt believe the Bible is ALL God inspired , he says some is , but not all

Neither do I that doesnt make one a false prophet just means we dont have to please man nor agree with him, only God.

in all His Love

Well, sorry to tell you, but disagreeing that the Bible is all inspired by God is disagreeing with God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
