What do you know about angles ?

I know one thing I was taught in grade school that is not really true.

We have a guardian angel with us to protect us ?

That I know longer believe !

1 Cor 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Now I wish I could show this to a lot of lady's......
they sure think different these day's.

We never have them !

God made them for a different reason.

In time past they were to bring messages back and forth !

There are no female angles ! Only those who work for Satan

They have no wings !

My understanding of scripture is that chldren definitely have angels. Not sure when these angels leave (perhaps at the age of accountability?) but as christians God says He gives His angels charge over us.

Hebrews 1:14: “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; Psalm 91:11

Ezek 10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

They are cherub not a angle

Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

I believe that most people do not understand "Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth .

Time Past ~ Ephesians 2:11,12 "Prophecy" Gen. - - Malachi

But Now Ephesians 2:13 - "Mystery" - "GRACE" -- Romans - Philemon

Ages to Come Ephesians 2:7 - "Prophecy" - Hebrews - Revelation

God is not dealing with people today , as HE did before or in the time to come.

The bible will open up to you more with understanding once you know this.

First of all, look at the time ! They followed different things back in those days.
Things were so different.

Mat 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Do we pluck out eyes ? Do we have the apostles to talk to us ?
Does God put dreams in our head to talk to us ?

We do not have the apostles now a day's
Or even Paul who was for the Gentiles.
But we do have their word. In our bible. But we have to know, who is talking !
And to whom !
And then you can see how different the time is now !

Jesus Himself says that they have angels! Do you not understand what 'their' means? It indicates POSSESSION. We possess angels who are in the presence of God continuously...in other words, they are with us but exist in the spirit realm constantly, always beholding the face of God, but ministering to us and on our behalf always.

You are right. Angels do not need to learn anything from us. They witness how we serve God and fail Him and they wonder what in the world? They cannot fathom how we have a Father who loves us so, yet we tend to do our own thing.

We will be over the angels in the Kingdom because we are joint heirs with Christ, and will have His standing when we literally come into the Kingdom.

when Paul became the apostle to the Gentiles, things changed !

Back in the time of Christ, the Angles were messengers.
But now that is time past.
God is not working with us as He once did at that time.

Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth.

A time Past, but now, and ages to come.

When you pay attention to who is talking and to whom. It does change and makes it clear what is going on.

There is no change in God's economy since Christ. We are living in the Church Age, now and angels are still used by God to deliver messages and to minister to His people every day---just as they did since the beginning of time.

I am talking about what was before.
In this day things are not the same , and if you do more reading you will see
Under Paul things have changed, since the 12 apostles .
Every one is now a gentile.
Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

My KJB reads

It does say they are in heaven ! Twice

No Angels on earth , but in heaven !
Angles have no wings..
Isa 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

Isa 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Those are seraphims not angels .

Those angels would most likely be female.

We were watching some old tapes we have , were a preacher is
explaining what a angel is and is not .
And these verse he had us look at.

Angles are ministering spirits sent to minister to those who are the heirs to salvation., They are in our lives always and they do look into the affairs of mankind. Angles are spirits, they are not like us they do not feel emotions and have the same appetites as we do. They are the servants of God and do exactly as he directs them.
Satan was different, he had the ability to make decision's, and he had other angles under his command.
The bible is full of information concerning their abilities and purposes. There is so much info that it cannot be a debatable matter.

I know a lot more about angles than angels. (I have an engineering degree)

I can give you the sine, cosine, tangent and cartesian coordinates for any angle and distance. I used them for years in my calculations.

All I know about angels is what I read in the bible.

angels ARE male...

Gen 6:1 talks of man multiplying before the flood
v2 the sons of god (angels) saw that human women were fair and took them
v3 god is angry at this
v4 this is where the giants came from - demon seed
this is why the flood happened - main cause

Amos 2:9 God is talking about bringing Israel into the promise land after exodus and clearing the giants before them (whose fruit is from ABOVE (angel) and root (human) is below (earth)
v10 showing exodus happened then v9

now we know that god says: just like it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the son of man - rapture - endtimes

now let's see if demons are once again part of being like it was in the days of Noah.

Dan2:44 we see kings and that god sets up a FOREVER kingdom - just after the end times

so look at v43 and it tells us that just like clay (miry) doesn't mix with iron

That THEY shall mingle (sex) themselfs (angels - fallen) with the seed of men (women) but unlike in the first time of Noah they made giants, this time they get frankenstein....

So we see that angels have sex with women so they are males.....

just as long as you don't try to make this into a guardian angel that visits believers
as it says they are BEFORE Gods face (in heaven)

Our protection comes from the holy spirit within us.... And not some angel who visits us in our home etc..... You don't see any such thing for believers when it comes to a personal visit from host of heaven... But if you have visits it's from former host's of heaven.... I've read where people believe and accept guardian angels and get visits and even awake to see one watching you.... And they've been taught this is correct.... And it's not

heb 1:14 doesn't say this. It says they are sent forth to minister FOR us not TO us

the Greek word Diakoneo which means (attendance - as a servant)

this shows interaction with an angel CAN happen but this is not what grams was talking about

guardian angels are personal angels who VISIT you as opposed to having angels that have face time with God for you.... A one time visit with a show up anytime visits

angels DO NOT interact with you for no reason while I've read guardian angel story that simply have them watching you sleep? You awaken to something watching you... No thanks

That may or may not be so. Either way it does not establish gender for ALL angels. Most in the bible are described as male, but Jesus says that the angels in heaven "neither marry or are given in marraige." That would seem to indicate that both genders of angels exist as "given in marriage" was indicative of females.

Well as growing up in religion I was thought you have a devil on one side and a
angel on the other.

Which I did believe , till we changed to just a plain bible church.

And I believe that no more !

God may and can do what ever HE wants to do. But in these day's HE is no longer

That may or may not be so. Either way it does not establish gender for ALL angels. Most in the bible are described as male, but Jesus says that the angels in heaven "neither marry or are given in marraige." That would seem to indicate that both genders of angels exist as "given in marriage" was indicative of females.
