I will venture a response to this topic. This nation is not going to ever single out a religion and forbid it. Even though Islam may be harboring terrorist sympathizers and sending money to support the terrorist activities in the world, the religion will not be officially condemned, unless a specific mosque can be proved by law to be engaged in illegal activity. Only the individual perpretators can be arrested and limited.
This is much like gangs or certain private clubs in our country which are not forbidden, for they have rights. Only an individual criminal can be arrested and judged.
Christians are not called by God to fight (such as the Crusades of the Middle Ages), and they are to "turn the other cheek" and be as sheep rather than wolves. God expects us to pray, be the kind of testimony that Jesus and the Apostles were, "love your enemies", etc. God will protect and care for His children, and He lets the world do it's thing as of natural men. The spiritual man is not of the world, and is also here only as an "ambassador for Christ", as we are told.
I can appreciate the concerns of many Christians about politics and law enforcement, and human rights, etc., but that is really not the mind of God for His saints. We are looking for our removal from this world before the wrath of God falls on it.
