when did the Holy Spirit go from the outward appearance to the inward indwelling?

to actually show when the Church began

As far as I understand the Christian Church began from the moment Christ rose from the dead - when He sent His disciples to preach the gosple all over the world before Jesus ascended to heaven.

Our body is ths temple of the Holy Spirit - although the devil fights to make it his temple instead.

When we sin  the devil takes possession of our body and this is reflected outwardly in depression, anxiety, ill temmperedness, swearing, grudges, murder, fornication etc.

When we invite the Holy Spirit to take possession of our body instead, we first remove the devil out of our body by not practicing what is  his as above.

When the Holy Spirit dwells inside our body, the opposite characteristics to the list above is manifested ourwardly in our personality - patience, slow to anger, tollerance, faithfullness to one partner in marriage, speak the truth, want to save souls, exude peace etc.

Hello,
To answer the question, the church was birthed on the Day of Pentecost.

Hello Author,
Apparently, the Disciples were the first to receive the Holy Spirit and "new life" according to Christ's finished work on the Cross and Bodily Resurrection according to this verse,

Jhn 20:22   And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

The Disciples were the seemingly called in Scripture, "Pillars."

Gal 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we [should go] unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

So we see that on thier testamony of faith was built the foundation of the church but the birth of the church was not until The Day of Pentecost.  When Moses received the law it was on a sunday (1st day of the week) and 3000 people died.  But, On The Day of Pentecost 3000 souls were added to the number of those who were being saved.

Exd 32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

Isnt it intersting?  Christ is the foundation of all truth, goodness and righteousness!  Jesus is the "chief corner stone."

Yohonron
