Which church?

Roman Catholic? Yes.

Church of Christ? No (because there isn't a church authority to "recognize" them).

Hello peeps,
are there any miracles or miraculous events that is/are recognized by the Church?

what are they?  Tipping hat

I think that many Christians tend to regard miracles as a thing of the past. Yet, the greatest of all miracles occur each and every day i.e. the transforming of a hardened, unbelieving sinner into a new creature in Jesus Christ (see 2 Cor. 5:17). What could be more miraculous than that?

Still, Scripture speaks of the gift of working miracles in 1 Cor. 12. There is no counter Scripture showing that this gift has ceased, though there are certainly not so many mighty miracles being performed today as there were in the 1st Century.

That unexplainable events do happen regularly demonstrates that God is still in the business of miraculously confounding the wise, arrogant, and proud. The most obvious situations involve the mysterious healing of people with diseases -- maladies that the best medical specialists have given up on and have no explanation as to why the one they sent home to set their affairs in order is not only alive but completely free from that terminal affliction.

It doesn't matter one iota whether a church recognizes miracles.  Miracles occur every single day.  Thank you JESUS, Amen.

Yeah, you'd have to peg down what church you're talking about for your question to be answered.

I don't see how if Jesus did miracles that he didn't have more followers in his time, and we are expected to believe he did them now when we have seen no evidence that they happened?

That's the point.  You accept all sorts of historical happenings as fact that you were not present to see, because of the witnesses' accounts.  So it is with Scripture.

We don't know how many followers JESUS had.  We do know the number of disciples but as far as followers in one place
multitudes are mentioned .  One thing sure if television had existed then or other media we still wouldn't know for sure
because of media exaggeration.  In any event it does not matter.  The people that GOD wanted present were present.
         Thank you JESUS,Amen.
