Difference between Matter and Spirit

In my physics textbook, it says that anything with inertia is matter.

So anything without inertia is spirit?

Help me out, please. The alternative to matter is usually considered to be energy.
At the same time as I say that, I find your question interesting because of the implications about a Creator who is spirit. He holds the Universe together. I doubt He used tongs! Therefore, at some point, the matter/energy universe we study in science must have an interface with spirit.

All matter is energy and all energy is matter.

I think the spirit is quantum matter.

Spirit is outside of matter and energy, it can interact with the physical world but the physical world can't interact with it, like one way glass.

I think the spirit is quantum matter.
Energy and matter are interchangable.  Both were created by God.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth..." (matter)
"Let there be light.." (energy)

But spirit is as the Torah sages describe God:  "Wholely other."  Entirely different from anything created.

In fact Hebrews (11.3) tells us that everything that is seen is made from that which is unseen. Matter and energy can be seen.  Spirit reality cannot.

I would say that makes it even more fundamenal than quantum energy or matter.

No, the only thing you can deduce from the statement that if it has inertia then it is matter is that if it is not matter it has no inertia.  But more importantly, your physics textbook says nothing whatever about the spirit or spiritual things.  Physics can only deal with the physical.

Have you never run into spiritual inertia?  I have......

That has nothing to so with physics or the physical attributes of inertia.  But I do understand what you said.

There is only One "thing" and it is spacetime.
Spacetime has characteristics.

Matter is only an appearance of energy in spacetime.
Matter is simply a spherical standing wave of energy.

The energy goes out in spherical standing waves to the limits of its inertia, then falls back to the center of the standing spherical wave where it again reverses into an out wave.

These in and out waves intersect with each other at the point where they combine, forming something like progressively larger "onion-shells" of energy around the center of the spherical standing wave.

An electron is a spherical standing wave which spins in one direction, while a positron (anti-matter) is identical except for its opposite spin.  When an electron and positron meet they mutually annihilate, meaning that the bound energy in both "particles" is released back into the spacetime continuum.  That's why matter/antimatter collisions are 100% efficient, no energy is lost, just redistributed.

It would take quite a long time to get there, but this is the sum of the matter:
"In Him we live and move and have our being."
