NHL and MLB aren't that far for me, I could take a commuter train and get dropped off almost at the doors of the Rogers Center for a Blue Jays game and if I want to see the Maple Leafs play I could just grab the subway from where the train drops me and be right at the Air Canada Center. For me the problem isn't the commute, it's the money. $200 for a decent ticket for the Leafs plus $12 beers and $10 hot dogs. Maybe I'm getting cheap but $500 for a hockey game is kinda steep in my books. Blue Jays tickets were much cheaper due to their dismal season, closer to game day they could be had for $30 each but I'll consider myself a fairweather fan that jumps on the bandwagon when they have a winning season. I've been to lots of Bills games, for those it's always drive and park in the Bills Mafia lot.
