OK, I give up.  Maybe a mod will fix it for me.  If not, I'll fix it when I get back.  Got to make a run to town.

Great video by Harding College in 1948.  Maybe you've seen it.  Today was the first time for me.

It's certainly a very important message. But so many people have bought into the idea that the government can take over and do everything better than the "common man." And, as the video pointed out, when we invest in someone's business that they're trying to start, be it a lawn service, computer repair, making a movie, a food product, or whatever, we are capitalists. That word and "capitalism" simply means that we use our money in the free market to try to make some more. But liberals have even given that a bad name. It's scary. The liberals are drinking the "ism" talked about in the video.

I've always thought it funny that when it's "theirs" is propaganda*, when it's "ours" it's just a great cartoon.  Pretty much just the equal and opposite of old Soviet cartoons used for the same purpose.


(not a condemnation of the cartoon or its message, just an observation)

That was fantastic Phoebes.  It sent a chill up my spine.  It was perfect for what is happening to America today.  You should send it to Glenn Beck at me@glennbeck.com.  It fits right in with what he's been talking about lately.   I wonder if that was a "prophetic" cartoon?
