It was interesting the NOW webpage about Letterman still took a jab at Limbaugh with the liberal myth that he deliberately had a a picture of a dog (I believe it was Bush # 1's) as a picture of Chelsea Clinton.

They turned me loose from the nervous hospital.  Said I was well.  Mmm hmm.

Suffering for your beliefs is called faithfulness, making others suffer for your beliefs is called being a jerk.

OD, it's high comedy that you're attempting to get hard core over the definition of what ... SILENT ... means in media context.

Are you somehow not capable of seeing that NOW did the  ... BARE MINIMUM ... with this incident?

They did the bare minimum of what they had to do to remain credible.

That IS silence, OD.

"Oooohh ... but look up the definition, poptart!!!

lol

Hey,

Silent Night, Holy Night ...

Do you think it was REALLY silent night??

I bet there were a few cricket chirps.

Nick gets it.

NOW summarized the Letterman incident by ... taking a shot at Rush Limbaugh.

You seriously can't make this stuff up.

It isn't suprising that they would take a shot at Limbaugh, though, since he refers to NOW as NAG (National Association of Gals).

Silent means silent - doesn't it.  By definition, if there is any sound at all, it's not silent.

Being wrong is no big deal - you just say, "Well, NOW did give it a mention.  I was wrong about them being silent... Of course they took a typical liberal [blah, blah, blah]..."

But you just can't do that, can you.  You seem to be pathologically averse to admitting you were wrong, and then spin the whole thing like you meant us to understand "silent" another way.

Funny thing is, I agree with your political views, but not your behavior in this thread.

Since it has turned into a verbal tug of war on whether NOW was silent or not, and not a discussion of the incident itself, I'm shutting it down.  If another mod would like to unlock it, I'd like a PM first, please.
