Crowcamp, I'll say it again, I want to inform those who are passionate about kicking him out of office so that they have more amunition when they are debating their liberal friends and because they are more likely to tell others through email forwards, Facebook, etc. I do marketing for a living and I can tell you that that's how it works. Why do you think Obama makes speeches to supporters about how wonderful he is and how eeeeeevil the Republicans are? Because they are the ones who are most likely to spread the message he wants them to.
And of course, we need representatives to be smart and productive instead of regid and useless. But doing things for the sake of doing things is not the answer. Sometimes rejecting a proposal (like should have been done with the Obamacare nightmare) is what needs to be done.
In the case of lowering the corporate tax rate, the vast majority of Republicans want to do that but the vast majority of Democrats do not. So Republicans would need Obama to get the Senate to write and go along with such a bill. But you and I both know that Obama has bipassed Congress several times to do what he's wanted to do so he could lower corporate tax rates by executive order if he wanted. After all, his first act as President, after months of claiming he'd be the most open President ever, was to make an executive order to seal and lock his college and professional records. So he could do it one of two ways if he wanted. But he doesn't. That's the point.
