Except I don't think their job is to uphold it...but rather, re-write it

You mean, do things like claim the right to attach signing statements to bills or to have the vice president a member of whichever branch of government is the most convenient at the time?

I would hope he would make the Constitution a top priority considering it has taken a beating in the past 7 years.
