I don't hate Trump but I can plainly see that he is should never have run for President.   He capitalized on his popularity as a celebrity and once he got involved with running for President his desire to NOT LOSE took over.

The man has too many personal and business conflicts that make him unsuitable.  For example, last calendar year 1/3 of his days as Presidet were spent on Trump properties.

Trump has too many Russian business relationships.  They may not be illegal, as some have suggested, but they are inappropriate for a President of the United States.

One thing that Trump has done, that I believe is a positive thing, is that he has shown us just how sick we are and how willing we are to ignore his shortcomings if we think it's going to help our piggy banks.

I have not read the thread about "more money in my check" and I doubt that I will.    My health insurance premium was increased as of December, 2017.   I received a letter about this a month prior in which it was stated, "we are sorry to have to raise your premium but rising costs of healthcare are why we must increase your premium."   I recall Trump talking about his already forumlated health care plan.  "It is great and will be better than any healthcare program you've ever seen."  I'm still waiting, Mr. Trump.  I know you wouldn't lie.  You've never, ever lied about anything, have you?

That has to be the most idiotic statement  ever made in the politics forum.

Once again, you've proven you're a pro-abort. I knew it, though, and you know I know it.
Once again, you prove you read people's posts who you claim you have blocked.  ::smile::

Personally, i don't think a desire to not lose is a bad thing.

The man has too many personal and business conflicts that make him unsuitable.  For example, last calendar year 1/3 of his days as Presidet were spent on Trump properties.

So, he is to cease ALL business and personal ventures?

Trump has too many Russian business relationships.  They may not be illegal, as some have suggested, but they are inappropriate for a President of the United States.

See above comment.

I recall Trump talking about his already forumlated health care plan.  "It is great and will be better than any healthcare program you've ever seen."

You are aware that a change like he wanted was not doable by executive action?

You need a majority in the house and a majority in the senate to execute a change in healthcare.

Of those on either side you have those who insist that it has to be their plan. If the majority does not go along with 'their" plan nothing happens.... as we saw.

The egos that make up DC are not going to pander to what POTUS offers as a plan.
He suggests an idea, they mess around with it, mess it up, and then cannot get both houses to sign off and get it to his desk to sign.

Do not make the mistake of thinking he does not have a great plan.... but the Paul Ryans and the like will never follow POTUS' suggestions over their own.

BTW... My healthcare costs went up too, as well as Prescription costs.

Do not blame POTUS... blame both houses who are stupidly clinging to Obamacare because they are gutless.

Mine haven’t gone up because the company I work for has absorbed the increases for years. The company is very magnanimous in that regard, and I couldn’t blame them if they reached a point they couldn’t absorb more and more.

Private insurance outside of a large group is tough. Always has been and DID NOT improve with Obamacare, but got much worse according to people I know in the health insurance business. Not to mention the amount of doctors that retired or quit the business outright. I am presently going to my 4th doctor within the same office. Two of the previous three retired early specifically because of Obamacare. The other moved to better a market. Smaller cities and rural areas are really suffering for doctors.

And yes the Failure of the Congress is the reason for Trump’s plan not being implemented. All Democrats and the NeverTrump Republicans. The GOP is far from “controlling” the Senate in reality with 6 to 12 diehard Dems with an (R) beside their names.

Oh yeah NR, what makes Hillary's run for President anymore credible than Trump's? I do realize most or all of her shenanigans during her tenure as Sec. of State has been shielded by the Obama administration and the complicit main stream media. IF she was not so incredibly inept and careless and NOT effectively the third term of Obama, and did not exhibit such an attitude of entitlement, I might could see some credibility from a Democrat's standpoint, BUT.........

As to the More Money in my Check thread, very innocuous: 1 Thank you Trump, 1 me too, and one Canadian posting a frown face. Nothing remotely offensive to anyone.

Probably wouldn’t even offend a Democrat other than Pelosi, Maxine Watters etal.

It's probably safer there and less likely to get wire tapped.

Besides, he was gone Aug 3-20 because of renovations of the West Wing and wasn't allowed to stay there during those renovation.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't care if he goes to one of his resorts because it's obvious, he's accomplishing what I want him to do.

Hillary had many more contacts around the world through the Clinton Foundation. Not once did I see you mention that conflict.
Bernie honeymooned in Russia and his ties there go back much further and deeper than Trump's ever were, but I never see you mention that.

Yes why would we want a successful business man in the white who doesn't even take a salary? What we really need is a life long politician who has become a millionaire by selling their influence.  Not some unqualified guy who  understands about running a business meeting payrolls and making a profit.  Lord help us lol

IMO, the people who despise and hate Trump are the people who watch mainstream media news coverage and late night talk shows, and actually believe all of it. Day after day, week after week, month after month, they're told Trump is a baby, liar, dictator, liar, man-baby, liar, authoritarian, liar, Putin puppet, liar, small hands/penis, liar, deranged, liar, unhinged, liar, senile, liar, evil, "literally Hitler," Stalin, liar, liar, liar....and on and on and on. So if you watch that long enough, you start believing it. It's only natural. You become as filled with hate as they want you to be. The media wants the public to hate Trump, so a certain amount of people will be persuaded/brainwashed to hate him, and hate him to the point of living in despair, screaming at the sky, throwing shoes at videos of him, rioting, etc.

I know Trump claimed to want to drain the swamp. It seems obvious to me the closer he gets to achieving that the more deranged the swamp dwellers become.

I have always been leery of the Washington establishment. I am convinced more than ever the Establishment (swamp) is much much more insidious than I ever suspected. The 2016 election has set in motion an incredible show to watch unfold as the cockroaches scatter. Surely that is obvious to people! Ironically I think it is all TOO obvious to an awful lot of people both the observers from the outside looking in like myself and the panicked vermin within. The decieved voters on the Left and the frantic mouth pieces in the media are the ones that are either innocently ignorant or worse evil participants in this tired charade foisted on us by the likes of Pelosi and Mad Max(ine) Watters and many others, begun with Hillary’s highly unexpected defeat. The event that changed everything! ...........THANFULLY. And set in motion a hissy fit, the likes of which has never been witnessed before.

Yep.

The drunk Trump protestor on this video is kind of humorous - in a sad way. He's holding a union sign and says he's against Trump because Trump has too much money.
