After the election, I was so relieved we didn't have Hillary but I was hopefully neutral on Trump. He has done such a great job on several things, that I am all in. I was a bit skittish about his brash behavior and his plain talk, but now I see both as an asset to the country against a much worse ogre, the Establishment of both parties. Also since every Republican President in my memory with the exception of Reagan let people run all over them. Fighting back is Trump's greatest asset other than his business sense. I truly believe he will have the economy roaring EVEN with the Establishment throwing on every type of brake they can in the process.
I look at Reagan's "evil empire" speech and the "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" speech as Trumpesque. The Establishment types in the State Dept had a cow over both speeches, even demanding that he take those parts out of his speeches. Not to mention Reagan's ultimatum to Gorbachev in Reykyavik, Iceland. All three had the Establishment gasping in horror, and in reality all three were EXACTLY what should have been said at the time of each. In the modern era of political double speak, Trump's plain talk is refreshing to me, especially me coming from the construction industry and the oil patch. It's no mystery to anyone that some countries in this world ARE ****hole countries. No need to dance around that plain fact. It leaves nothing to interpretation where no interpretation is warranted. Hillary was clearly just an evil doer that had the cover of the main stream media and the Establishment. One word for her -- dangerous!
To me his persona is way more appealing than the meticulously crafted persona that was presented as Barack Obama. We found out who he really was, and he was way more dangerous than the carefully orchestrated and semi articulate empty suit that he was in public.
