I'm not paying taxes! I want to thank all the taxpayers for their wonderful support.

 Amen!

What people forget is that all big business get tax breaks which the average citizens cannot claim.

Just how much did GM and Ford get dished out recently?Confused?

No, they get deductions for business expenses just like you do if you have a business.

Help those who CAN'T help themselves not the ones that WON'T. There has to be a way to sift the difference.

Where have you been for the last 12 months - under a bushel?

How many banks has the Us bailed out?  How much have GM and Ford be given?  Ask your local politician - Trillions.

The US banks have been ripping off the community for years - GM and Ford have been producing inefficient vehicles for years and then they all get rewarded for their inefficiency.

In fact you guys were all given money by the government to go out and spend.  Where do you think that money comes from?

GM, plenty.  Ford, none.

Why are we talking about Ford?   Confused

Why am I talking about the banks?

Come on - stop your hypocrisy - your tax dollars support more than the odd welfare cheat.

Exactly corrct, and one way to do so is to plow money back into the company. Its funny on another board some liberal is yelling at me about my small business telling me that I NEED to plow my profit back in...here one is complaining that they DO plow it back in.

Liberal mind...whatever works at THAT moment!

Stop trying to justify the absolute hypocrisy of your collective statements.   You all got payouts from the government - how many of your said 'No thanks, I'll give mine back'?  Huh?

The bells are ringing - is anyone listening?

No wonder Christianity has lost all creditability.

I'm hip to that.  I'm for the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers.  If you aren't, then your Christianity has no credibility.

Now that sounds very much like a politician claiming innocence when caught with their hand in the till.

As far as I recall the news report that government gave a handout to the whole population - tax free what I'm lead to believe.

What I am pointing out is that Christianity is more like an add on extra to be dropped when things get a bit tight.  Either you are a Christian or you are not.

What you don't like is your neighbour.  Yet Jesus taught something different.

I see no love directed at 'thy neighbour' here - just hate and  and a bout of self-righteousness.

I don't see a need to drop just because things get a bit tight.

Either you are a Christian or you are not.

I agree.

You don't know what I like and don't like.  Perhaps you have a problem with my believing that a doped up layabout existence is not all that great a life.
