Why I oppose nomination of Brett Kavanaught to Supreme Court
« on: Thu Jul 12, 2018 - 13:56:51 »
I am very much afraid Christian organizations are being seriously misled to support the nomination of Trump’s recent Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.  Very serious and damning revelations are being made against him by highly reputable sources, including Roger Stone who personally knows President Trump and has testified before numerous Congressional investigations,, Chuck Baldwin a highly learned preacher who even ran for President and a huge supporter of Ron Paul, one of the strongest advocates for supporting our constitution and the head of Judicial watch a well known and trusted watchdog on exposing the corruption in Washington.

I include the followi9ng title of their articles along with the links to read them in their entirety:

Trump’s SCOTUS Pick: More Of The Same
By Chuck Baldwin

Judicial Watch says Kavanaugh is Not a True Conservative; Trump Should Withdraw Nomination

Trump Supreme Court Candidate Brett Kavanaugh Was Up To His Waist In The Mysterious Vince Foster Death Investigation by Roger Stone

Link: https://newswithviews.com/trump-supreme-court-candidate-brett-kavanaugh-was-up-to-his-waist-in-the-mysterious-vince-foster-death-investigation/

Because of the very serious charges being made I will not support his nomination and advise others to do likewise.

Even the Democrats have it right but entirely for the wrong reasons.

Add to these this link that I questioned in my  Dave Hodges is to be believed thread, yesterday.

Andrew Napolitano does not like him.

Alan Dershowitz says he will be fine

Now this

http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/kavanaughs-nomination-must-be-defeated-he-supports-abortion-obamacare-and-the-cover-up-of-vince-fosters-murder/

I had also included 2 other links and while there is much out there against the man, some seems to be stretching it in a way to show the worst light.

Notes on the Garza decision

https://www.nationalreview.com/bench-memos/on-judge-kavanaugh-on-garza-v-hargan/

And did Kavanaugh say the president is above the law as the left is saying

https://www.westernjournal.com/fact-check-brett-kavanaugh-really-say-president-above-law/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=WJBreaking&utm_campaign=breaking&utm_content=western-journal

Personally I do not like Kavanaugh. My reasons would not make a bit of sense to anyone so consider it is just a gut feeling, but I have to trust POTUS.

I will simply say Jesuit, for those who are truly curious.

Anyway... just tossing these links into this thread to kind of keep things grouped together.

I don't know what to think except Trump promised to nominate justices from a specific list and he did. (Promises made - promises kept) When the list was originally presented, conservatives were giddy over it and said there wasn't a bad choice on the whole list. Now it's not good enough, and as Rush says, conservatives need to stop naval gazing and second guessing it.

I'm just going to trust Trump. I'm sure there's a reason he chose him.

I'm trusting POTUS. But I think we are going to find out that Kananaugh is not all he seems to be.

I pray I am wrong. And he is very pro gun, so that is good... but the Vince Foster thing that Roger Stone wrote about is troubling.

That abortion thing could be either way.

I only know that with Napolitano not liking him . I read that and he said it on Fox and friends.... it is because he has disagreed with soe of his decisions....

And Dershowitz saying he will be fine...  Makes me want to know what Alan knows and if he is saying that to actually get his left to vote for him. If so... why?

It will be what it will be.

I will trust God first on this, POTUS 2nd.... but eep y eyes open

If Kavanaugh is not a strong conservative, especially on abortions, the Dems may allow a few of their Senators to make sure he gets in, just not to ahow any big aupport for Trump’s nominee whom they trashed. Just a wild hair on my part.

I already thought of that.

If this Jesuit gets on the Supreme Court, Sunday Law is coming.

He would need other support.

But even if it came, does that bother you?

Okies still have a blue law on liquor. No liquor stores are open on Sundays.   ::prayinghard:: ::priest:: ::preachit::

We can still get liquor by the drink in restaurants on Sundays, though.

If the Democrats are having to resort to trying to discredit the man by making fun of his name...  He MUST be the man America needs on that court.
