Pre-empt vs wait till we are hit to respond? A no brainer.

No one is for pre-empting for no good reason. (Or not pre-empting for a good reason I hope).

I will never be for tieing our hands until we are hit first. That is stupid.

President Bush didn't attack Iraq. The United States of America did. After being voted on by the entire governmental body. They all had the same intelligence...

So, again I ask the question.. Would you rather wait for some one to attack an American interest, even though we know about the threat? Then respond?

Just watch as the military is slowly but surely dismantled.  Preemptive strike will not be possible, and neither will effective defense.  The F-22 has been terminated.  The Eastern European missile defense has been eliminated.  Afganistan will soon be left to whomever will take control and Pakistan will follow shortly thereafter.  Iran will have nukes before Obama leaves office.  Militarily (and financially) we will soon be following behind China.

The only thing stopping that will be a major shift at the midterms.  And even that may not be enough to stop the emasculation of America.

I am for the  way that Obama has continued pre-emptively inserting a hellfire missile enema from Predator drones into whatever vermin infested remnants of Al Queda we can find.

I assume that Israel will pre-emptively attack Iran's nuclear facilities, with or without our approval, probably days or weeks before Iran plans to pre-emptively wipe Israel off the map. I hope Israel succeeds because the Big Satan (us) is next after the Little Satan (Israel).
