« on: Thu Jan 26, 2012 - 09:31:30 »
My aunt found out she has 2nd stage breast cancer in November.
My mom found out she had skin cancer this month. Don't know the stage yet.
Mom is also going in for surgery on top of dealing with cancer drama.

My aunt is going for her first treatment the same day mom is going in for surgery, this thursday.

Please pray for them :(

Dear Father, You have asked us to come to Your throne of grace in our time of need to obtain mercy and find grace. I come to you this morning asking for Your special touch to this aunt and mother diagnosed with cancer. Please heal them and give them a peace as they go through the treatments You are allowing. Thank You Father for this and I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thanks guys <3

Moms surgery went great she's in recovery. My aunts first radiation went great too.

In the recovery room mom picked up the remote to turn the TV on... She couldn't find the TV power button so started randomly pressing buttons. The nurse comes in and was like "You are just being a trouble maker today. Do you need to my help, use the restroom and more pain medicine? All of our lights are flashing out there." Mom was like "No I just want the tv on." Nurse  "Here's your power button."

Nurse shows mom and leaves. Mom "Where's the volume on this thing?" I was about to help her then she was like "Oops! I hit the nurses button again!" The nurse didn't come this time she knew mom accdiently pushed it again. LOL

I was like "Mom, you've had enough pain medicine for sure"

haha.

She's doing great though.  ::smile::

I have no doubt, God is with you. You don't need our prayers, God will always give you what you ask for.  ::smile::
