It's sure looking like I have a big opportunity around the corner. I have a college degree, but a vocational agency is talking about funding more classes to get me into a new line of work of my choosing.

So . . . now I'm thinking about this "choosing."  Praying hard These guys are really working for me and with me, here, and I'm trying to make the most of it, including the job shadowing they're offering. The biggest reason they think they can justify getting me more education is because my aptitude tests were really high in areas outside my majors.

I'm really excited, here. A huge door really opened--I think I'll be pursuing "lab technician" because that could get me into healthcare, which is one of the most stable fields out there right now. It's really interesting to me that I have an opportunity to go into science (which I love) even though I tried pursuing the arts, mostly.

Yeah I'm excited It's peanut butter jelly time!

Amen and I'm thankful with you brother. May God bless you in this new opportunity. I wonder though with those that are scientific pursuing a career where all their patients always die anyhow. I do agree that there is big money in buying them a few more days on earth. Study balancing bedpans; there's an art to that.   Smile

Cally knowing what I now know I'd recomend Pharmacy to my kids for a career.  I have never seen an unemployed pharacist
unless it was one that wanted to be unemployed.  Healthcare pretty much the same.  In healthcare there is a great deal
of satisfaction to be found caring for others but also a great deal of heartbreak.  Healthcare takes a special kind of person .
I think you probably have what it takes.  GOD Bless.

Yeah, as much as I'd rather go gung-ho at some ministry related things (and some of my own personal projects, like more formal writing and music), it doesn't look like there's much getting out of doing this sort of thing to get my resources, I figure. Lots of work for me.  Smile

Even still, though, the thought of working with some kind of science sounds considerably more appealing than the other things I've tried to do for a living.
